Ah, I do not believe in these religions. So I do not give up anything. I win.

I would give up pepsi, and I would die.
This. All of it. Except the pepsi part. Coke in my world.
Ah, the opposite of me. Tell me how do your furry teeth feel after every can? (1 up for the pepsi drinker) lol
Just because because we're mortal enemies, does it mean we can't be friends?

Strangely enough, I did almost exactly this (it was Coca Cola, not Pepsi) and it worked out pretty well, broke my addiction to caffeine-filled soft drinks, haven't regretted it yet. I still drink sugary fruit soft drinks, but at least no caffeine, that's something right?

Right?

OT: This year I've a few things I could give up and will make a dedicated effort to give up either chocolate or
hand-to-gland combat

Ive recently given up buying food on university campus and bringing my own packed lunches... saves me about £20 a week which is always nice.
Also I'm hitting the gym extra hard... but that's more because national cheerleading season is coming more than for lent

If I DID give anything up for Lent, it'd beeeeeee, smelly markers (the permanent marker kind, not the ones that smell like cinnamon)

What am I giving up... I ask you this question:

Why should I give something up?

I've been binge snacking for the past couple of months, so I figured what better time to knock that off than Lent? I gave up all solid, unhealthy snacks. Not unhealthy foods, mind you, just snacks.

I'm giving up windows (not ms windows, actual windows, the kind you get on houses)
The fact that you clarified your point not once or twice, but three times, just to be on the safe side. I'm sorry but I found it really really funny.

OT: I guess I could give up buying small bars of chocolate... so now I'll go buy big bars of chocolate instead. It's better value anyway.

Wait, I don't understand. I have to willingly give up something fun, why?

That wasn't a stab at religion I'm genuinely clueless as to why someone would do that.
