In all seriousness we know that this is what all skyrim discussion will devolve into a few months after it comes out. Its weird that the fan bases of the most popular rpg series on both sides of the pacific (Final fantasy and Elder Scrolls) have this problem.

I guess I'm an odd duck among ES fans. I loved Daggerfall, as much as it hated me. I loved Morrowind and Oblivion equally. I suppose the FanDumb believes that a sequel invalidates all previous entries.
Then again, I'm a fan of Highlander. I'm very experienced at ignoring imaginary alleged sequels.

Each Elder Scrolls game has made radical changes with each installment, so it's bound to cause some controversy amongst the fans.

I came expecting a strange thread complaining about a game not yet released, instead i found a strange thread complaining about fanboy's who've yet to complain.

Sure Oblivion was a step down from Morrowind in my opinion. Does not make me a fanboy of Morrowind. I'm glad i had the PC version of Oblivion so i could no clip to the very end of all the stupid oblivion gates. Otherwise it would have sullied the experience further.

I'd assume the morriwind fans would become what the daggerfall fans are now, I'm not exactly sure how to define that but i saw this one daggerfall fan who said "Bethesda has no ambition"

I never liked oblivion, just too many little things however if they are adressed in skyrim then I may be interested

in fact I dont really see what the big deal is over oblivion anyway

What mod let you skip to the end of the Oblivion gates?

I hate captcha.

It's just a console command. Just enable it through the target and then press ~ key then you can use the command to toggle no clipping and there ya go. No mods needed.

Ok fine I'll actually do what the thread title says.

What is with this whole finishing move system? Combat was way better in Oblivion. It was challenging. Sometimes it would take 20 or 30 hits to kill a zombie. Even more if you leveled up. Now it seems like you whack an enemy a few times and his limbs start flying off. What the hell is up with that? It's like I'm playing Fallout 3 with swords. Screw this "dynamic" combat I'm going back to standing in one place and hitting the attack button over and over again.

You only have to do 2 oblivion gates and a full camo suit lets you walk through them easily

Ok I have another one.

What is with the being able to walk around during conversations? I have ADD so whenever someone in the game started talking I always ended up wandering off and missing what they were saying. What the hell is going on in this game? Oblivion was better because it froze you in place and made you listen to everybody. It's like Bethesda doesn't even care about the story in Skyrim.
