Something cannot happen for no reason. So the Big Bang just happening can't be valid. Something had to generate it for the universe to start. If that's your theory of choice that is.
Very very bad science. Quantum mechanics dictates that a big bang will randomly occur approximately 10^1056 years. Also, guess what? Time could exist forever. When ever a big bang occurs, anything that happened before it is irrelevant. A singularity breaks causality. Anything that happens before a big bang does not effect what happens after it. Hence time is reset. The universe's gravitational pull could cause a repetition of big bangs, each one resetting time.
Again, something would cause these big bangs to happen ultimately higher than nature to cause them. Something outside the scope of our natural principles would be causing them.

Nothing is random.
As its been said, the multiverse theory has a lot of supporters.

When the argument is boiled down it comes to this: something has to be eternal. Because of what caused the cause argument.

Do you want to say that God is eternal? Or do you want to look for an explanation that can be proven? The multiverse theory states that other universes can create more universes. The math is complex and beyond everyone here. However, if the scientists say the math works then fine, but the point is, the infinite number of universes stretching back forever keep creating more. No God is necessary, and it answers the what caused the cause argument.
Where is the point of origin in these universes then? If a universe creates a universe that creates a universe, you still haven't satisfied the what caused the cause argument or question. You've just basically said "I don't know" and provided a fancy theory. Even if the stretch is infinite, there is a point of origin somewhere.

But maybe I'm just stupid.

one should be simply tolerant, as long as no immoral acts are commited in the guise of a religion, I'd say it's better to just walk pass the next preacher you stumble into.

Congratulations! You have qualified to be a dark ages priest. +10 to word play.
Please note however that Christians and Catholics in the future will resent you for making their life harder during the boon of athieism.

But yeah... in seriousness, you're twisting the doctrine a bit there buddy. If it's intentional, then good job, it's quite amusing. If not... umm... yeah... that's unfortunate.
To be quite honest, I thought he was being ironic by coming off as an Atheist form of a Dark Age Catholic Priest.

He's just showing how easy it was for them to do it. LOL, boon. Who uses the word boon? besides you of course.
Boon

?noun
1. something to be thankful for; blessing; benefit.
2. something that is asked; a favor sought.

During the blessing of atheism. You sure hit the nail on the head there.

Or maybe you are just not grasping the concept of infinite.

Personally, I am Severely Irked at both Religious Fundementalists/Zealots, aswell as annoying Existentialists and Religion-Bashers Equally.

I believe that Religion is a Much needed source of Moral Fiber. One Might say "Yah, but Religion Started all the Wars in the World."

However, it is in Human nature to Kill one's Neighbor for Resources. Even Supposedly Religious wars where not Really wars of Religion, more Economicly-Minded People Misrepresenting Religious Principals to Motivate Religious-Minded People to Fight their Wars.

Indeed, without the Religious Concept of "You will be Eternally blessed if You Cooperate with your Neighbor, but Tossed into Hell if You Disrupt society", our Civilization would Probably not have Evolved from Barbarism, With all of the Idealists and Thinkers Being Killed of by the thugs who, Lacking Moral Guidelines Would Destroy most of the Intellectuals useing the Time-honored Logic of the Survival of the Fittest.

In short, I believe in the Positive Societal benefits of Faith, but I couldn't Care less if It is true or Not.

However, People who Drive their Opinionated Bigotry to Such Extremes to Lose all sense of Logic and Civility I have no respect for.

Hey I did so not say that.

You're so getting sued XD
What I'm saying is infinity has no starting or ending point. It's like a scientific god. Only it doesn't require worship, or care about humans, it just exists.

Exactly. This fallows with the three assumptions, and the three tenets of P.E.A.R.L.ism.

Assumptions
1: My senses are accurate most of the time.
2: The universe obeys laws and principles.
3: A conscious being can understand these laws.

Tenets
1: Learning is the purpose of consciousness.
2: What goes on in the mind is sacred.
3: If something in your mind causes you to prevent another from learning and growing in any way, that thought, belief, or idea is no longer sacred, and should be subjected to scrutiny.

That, my friend, is P.E.A.R.L.ism. Physical Evidence And Reasoned Logic.

Well..the starting point would really be it's derivation..so the starting point would be 1

and the derivation of 1 would be some indefinite thing.

What I think is that trying to organize people is to much for a simple religion. When given that much power people seem to take advantage of it and project their own belifes. And like a government a religion needs a leader, which will always turn out bad because they will always force others to do as they want them to do believe and theres no way for those people to say no because its there beliefs as well. They'll tell them if they don't god will be angry with them, as time moves on though people are becoming smarter and this is slowly fadeing away. One day people will wake up and believe what they want to believe and they'll be much happier because of it.

I myself am classified as an atheist by people who disagree with me, I might not believe in god but I think those people who like to believe that life continues on after this and theres always a kind hearted being watching over them lovingly should be commended. The laws of religion teach people usually to be good to one another and that really brightnens up this world, but I wish people could just be nice for the sake of being nice not because they fear they'll be struck down and live eternity in a horrible place.

Also there are so many more logical ways to precive the world now adays back then when a lot of things happened they made up a reason and the best ways to say something happended was to place it on something most people believed. Now rather then to explain our world most religion is there as a fallback to make you feel better and to give you a place in this world. Most scientific theories no matter how crazy as long as it has a logical view point makes more since then a lot of the stories made up for religions.

I'm not extremely religious, but I fail to see how a universe, could exist without some form of creator. Yes, random things can happen, but without a 'Master of the Universe' so to speak, there couldn't be anything in the first place. Nothing could exist if God didn't.

In comparative terms, it doesn't matter what operating system you're running if nobody made the computer. Get what I'm saying?

Well, doing an action out of fear of being damned would actually be frowned upon according to the principles of most religions. Most of the time doing good should be done in the Glory of God, this includes all good sorts of treatments. And they classify the Glory of God as the Good.

So real belief would require them to do good for the Good.

But yeah..I do agree.
