You DO know that you wreak absolute havoc on your body when you non-voluntarily/accidentally fast, right? Even deciding in advance that you're going to fast still does bad things to you.

You'd be better off eating.
Yes I am well aware of the risk and I am prepared for the consequences. But the forum's concern for my well being is touching

Nope, I'm not over weight. I've worked in restaurants my entire life, so much so that 99% of food has lost all appeal to me, as such i just don't think to eat anymore. Combined with the fact that i don't watch any TV at all or listen to the radio, I never see food adverts to remind me I need food.
Um... hunger is not an invention of modern society. Hungers hunger. Hunger reminds and compels us to eat.

I don't care how 'turned off' to food you may be. You should be getting hungry and eating. If you aren't, you may want to get checked out. Sounds like you may have some busted glands or something.
Gonna have to agree here. There may well be something medically wrong with you.

Do you forget to breathe? Hunger isn't something you just forget about or lose interest in due to overexposure to food. That's kind of an absurd notion.

That's extremely impressive.

Although I must ask again, how is it you forgot to eat for 3 days? It just sounds like a really, really strange thing to me. I don't know anybody else in my life who has done that. Are you overweight or trying to lose weight maybe?
Not really, meth addicts do it all the time. One of the reason they look so...well, like meth addicts. I don't consider something drug addicts do with ease "impressive". And he's didn't say anything about not drinking calories.

Alternative theory: OP is an entirely run of the mill meth addict.

True I never mentioned drinking calories, but I really only drink tea and water. And stout when I have it, but for Samuel Smith's imperial stout at $5 a bottle it can get pricy quick. And no Im not a meth addict.

If you don't eat for a week, you just might die.

Hell, not eating for three days is awful to your body.

Also, I am a hungry billy, so I fast for no one.

If you like Imperial Stouts, you can get Old Rasputin for $4 a bottle. I think Samuel Smith comes in a bigger bottle, though; those are actually 20 ounce pints, aren't they? Because Old Rasputin is a 12 ounce American microbrew.

Is a "let's fast" like a "let's play" except instead of watching you play a game while I don't I watch you eat while I don't?

Anyways, no I get low blood sugar if I don't eat regularly. (Also, be sure to actually eat since forgetting meals is usually, you know, bad).

There was a thread on this here, a long time ago. A girl wanted to go without eating for a week for reasons that now escape me. As I remembered it, she started regretting it about 5 days in.
OT: No sir, I will not be joining you. I shall be making a homemade pizza and eat until I have to lay down. Then eat some more.
[sub][sub]If you want me to test your resolve, I will post pictures :D[/sub][/sub]

Why is everyone attempting to tempt me with pizza? I work in a pizzeria, i have unlimited pizza at my disposal. I just don't want it.

... reading all of your replies, stating that you now frequently forget to eat, let me give you a piece of advice. GO SEE A DOCTOR OR A SHRINK OR SOMETHING! While a fast here and there, especially if you know how to do it right, is not a big deal, if it's something you're doing all the time that is not healthy. It isn't even a matter of how much damage any one period of not eating is doing, a lifestyle where you do that all of the time is just not good for you. What you describe may not technically be anorexia, it will have the same end result. Don't think that explaining how you got that way will change the effects. FOR THE LOVE OF THE GOD WHOSE EXISTENCE I REMAIN FAIRLY SKEPTICAL IN REGARDS TO, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Well I know that I can ignore the first few hunger pangs I get during the day and they will go away for a few more hours but I cant ignore them for 3 days let alone a week... I remember not being able to eat for 12 hours before I had medical stuff done to me and that was torture enough. Mostly because I had to skip dinner and whatever we had that night smelled damn good.

Do you have a link for that thread? I'm really curious now that heaps of people have mentioned it on here.

Your concern is touching, But believe me, I'll be alright. Or I'll die, either way the problem will be resolved.

I think you should have your head checked, my good man. Forgetting something like eating could be a serious sign of a brain tumor.

How did you manage that? And better yet how did you not notice until just now!?

No, I will not join you, because that is a terrible idea. It is not healthy and may have detrimental effects on your body.

You sir need to eat something. Now.

How the hell can you just "forget" to eat for 3 whole days??? If I miss even a single meal, my stomach will start screaming at me after a couple of hours. You know the Pizza Pops commercial where the kid's thinking about something and then his stomach comes into the brain and muscles out whatever it is he's thinking about so he can deal with his hunger? Yeah it's kinda like that except my stomach is armed with several assault rifles.
