I usually calls us for mennesker (The Danish word for humans).

Long pig can also be used although it is not flattering at all.

Perhaps we should just use the German Mensch (since I like the sound of it) or stick to the scientific name of Homo sapiens.

in all these movies they talk about what makes you human and all that crap, but what is so great about being human. There are plenty of organisms with souls that arrn't human. They show emotions and can show acts of compasion. oh they can't speak? Yes they can we just can't translate most of it like the twits we really are. Terrans could refer to any organism from eart so it covers to wide a base. How about Gaian Supremus, or Terra Sapien
