I would say Against Me! but alot of people know them and I want something that is kind of obscure. Streetlight Manifesto and Reel Big Fish also come to mind but they are shot down for the same reason.....

So I'm sticking with Flogging Molly. Most of the people I know don't know them, and they completely dominated my life when I first heard them. The entire 'folk punk' genre and use of instruments like the freaking mandolin and accordion playing along with a hardcore beat is flabbergasting; I never would have thought that would work!

This is for the Blue Man Group. Don't judge right away, it is worth a watch. This is live from one of their concerts (They put on the best concert I've ever been to, entertainment wise) near the end, you will see a huge drum being played. In concert you don't even hear it really, the bass is so intense that it makes your shirt cling. Anyway, it starts off with them covering classics like crazy train, then goes into their version of the song "I Feel Love".

This is a guy called Greg Patillo, He plays the flute and beatboxes at the same time. This one is a medley of the theme songs for mission impossible, 007, and inspector gadget.

Machinae Supremacy; they invented a genre. SID-Metal, using the sound chip of an old Commodore 64. It is nowhere near as noobish as it sounds.

Not their best song, but a decent one, if a little repetitive: http://se.youtube.com/watch?v=Se5OoER5kHE

Have you ever read a book called Reservation Blues? And I'm sure you will have, but please check out Leadbelly and Townes Van Zandt.

Click the little play icon on the first track. It's a live version and not the best, actually, but I couldn't find this song on youtube. But I love it so much.
I love Leadbelly, but I wasn't aware of Townes Van Zandt, he seems pretty good. What's the reservation blues book about?

S' about some American Indians who come into possession of Robert Johnson's haunted guitar.

Right on, man. I love Tool. Did you get Guitar Hero: World Tour with the 3 Tool songs on it? I got it pretty much just for those.

I just ordered this [http://secure.nps1.net/guitarworld/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=16] too - can't wait to get it :D
