Starting with relationships: (HERE-IN LIES THE SPOILER-ISH STUFF)

Good god, my FemShep is a total whore! Given that she's my purely Paragon character, she has a track record of trying to stay as nice and friendly with all of the crew as possible...however apparently in ME 3 staying nice and friendly with all the crew translates into "getting VERY friendly with all the crew." What seem like simple friendly conversation choices turn into pretty insinuating flirtatious dialogue. Over half the crew on the Normandy wants to get into FemShep's bed, pants, and shower, apparently. Then about half-way through the game (at least I'm guessing it's half-way through) your personal mail box gets FILLED with everyone on your squad asking you out on a date on the Citadel. Garrus takes you to a romantic spot, Kaiden wants to have a romantic meal and just come right out and say that he loves Shepard (only to have his heart quite thoroughly crushed since my FemShep is in a 100% monogomous relationship with Liara). My communications officer tried to seduce me by taking a shower with the door open and even the reporter said she wants to get all snuggly with my FemShep. Seriously, I think someone's pumping sexual pheromones into the ship's oxygen supply, because EVERYONE on the Normandy is trying to get laid. I mean for crying out loud, Joker's trying to bang an android!

Alright, that aside, let's move onto the weapons:

God god, I LOVE the weapons in this game! It's obvious that they mixed the best parts of the weapons from ME 1 and ME 2 and came out with pure awesomeness. From ME 1 we get the interchangeable weapon mods that can be plugged in along with a MUCH large selection of weapons, yet not so much that it becomes like ME 1 where you just find the best brand of weapon and get the upgrade versions of that while everything else becomes omni-gel. From ME 2 we get the fact that every gun is truly unique, fires differently, has different capabilities and specialties (some are good against shields, others armor, etc) so it really feels like you're building a very impressive armory.

That said, my favorite weapon is the Black Widow. Not as powerful as The Widow from ME 2, but I like it more. It's got the stopping power of the Mantis, but it's got a 3 round clip and penetrating power (took out 2 Banshees with a double headshot! One was up close, the other was across the room...FUCKING AWESOME!!!). I LOVE this gun!!!

Bioware should not include "romantic" relationships in their next game, just as an exercise.

Wow...swing and a miss on this topic, eh? Oh well. :p

As for what Mr. Burger said, ehhhhhhhh. I've got no problem with the relationships in their games.

Well, it is potentially the end of the Mass Effect galaxy as we know it, people are just trying to experience it one last time. I didn't think the place Garrus took you(FemShep as well) was romantic as such, more two good friends through thick and thin who enjoyed what could(and turns out to be) one of their last moments together.

I didn't get the Kaidan stuff as I sent him to Hackett. I romanced him in ME1, went on to get a slap in the face from him and romance Thane in the second and then Thane died. I wasn't quite sure how it happened, but somehow I ended up in the shower with Traynor. I regret it a bit, I would rather have gone with one of the squadmates, but oh well, c'est la vie.

But I do agree, people were a bit... agressive in that, but then again, Shepard is a popular girl.

I thought it was awesome that there were so many different guns to choose from and that we got weapon mods back. My first(and only, so far) playthrough, I only went with an SMG and a pistol, because I wanted to reduce the CD on biotics(played a Vanguard) as much as possible. Charging people to regen your shield and then shooting said people in the face was just awesome. I loved that you could see the mods on the weapons and that weapons had weight, making it an important decision instead of letting us carry all weapons like in ME2.

That story at the end of your post is awesome, I'm definitely going to have to try that out. Out of curiosity, what difficulty did you play on? Because I have a hard time imagining taking two banshees out on insanity. If that's possible however, I'm definitely bringing it in future playthroughs.

:p To be fair, it wasn't specifically "one shot, two kills", though the final shot was. I'm currently playing on Hardened or Hardcore (forget which one ME uses, it's one step beneath Insanity). What happened was the two banshees enter the room and I start shooting at one of them. They work their way around the room and take out my teammates. As they start getting closer to me, I start back-peddling around the room, taking shots when I can. I got one of'em down to one more shot till she was dead, but then they both charged to the same place and ended up getting mixed up. The one that I had NOT been shooting at ended up advancing towards me while the one that I had already hurt lingered back. So I start taking my shots at the one that's now approaching me, and it just so happened that when I took that final headshot, she had floated in a perfect line of sight in front of the first banshee that I had already hurt. Pulled the trigger, and they both fell. The coolest part was, like I said, the one banshee was like 10 feet in front of me, the other was clear on the other side of the room.

Ah, that explains it. Well, still an awesome story, I love hearing things like this, from other people playing the game. I intend to bring more weapons around, the next time I play it, simply because I've heard amazing things about the different weapons. Also, playing with a different playstyle is bound to be a different experience and even though I love my biotic charge, I'm sure I'll thoroughly enjoy another class.

Also, I hated Banshees, because with low health and getting that special attack in on you, they can oneshot you on insanity. It was quite frustrating. But hey, I enjoy the challenge, which is why I'm doing it, so it's my own fault, really, hehe.

I hate banshees because they represent another inconsistency with the storyline. In ME 2, Samara tells you quite plainly "There are 3 Ardat'Yatchi (or however it's spelled) in existence today, and I have 3 daughters...it is as it seems."

So Banshees are huskified Ardat'Yatchi's...there's only 3 Ardat'Yatchi's in existence...one died in ME 2...
One blows herself up to make a sacrifice and the other remains at the sanctuary or whatever that place was.
So where are all these frickin' banshees coming from?

Well, according to the ME Wiki:
There are currently three known asari with the lethal variant of this condition; Falere, Rila and Morinth, all of whom are daughters of Samara. Morinth chose to embrace her condition, while Falere and Rila opted for a life of peaceful seclusion. Less severe cases are much more common, including up to 1% of the population.
The banshees comes from the less severe cases and not from Samara's daughters, as also stated in the wiki:
Banshees are created specifically from asari with active or latent predispositions to becoming Ardat-Yakshi.
Imagining what Samara's daughters turned into a Banshee would be like is frigthening.

Have you seen FemShepard's last casual outfit? It's like she's asking for it! [sub](all the attention, I mean)[/sub]

It's the end of the galaxy. Usually in a Bioware game that means that people are going to be pursuing whatever romance they can find. Can't really blame them either. There's a lot of things I'd want to do should the galaxy come to an end.

Ahhh, and I wonder just where that handy bit of information came from, I certainly don't recall it being in ME 2's codex, but I guess I could be wrong. Fair enough, I guess. :p

Though that does still leave the question of "if only Samara's daughters have the lethal variation of the genetic disorder...why do the rest of the non-lethal asari succubi need to be locked up?" From the sound of things non-lethal Ardats would really only have the side-effect of being sterile. The killer Ardats get a euphoric rush and gain a large amount of power every time they consume the life energy (or however Samara described it in ME 2) of their victims. Without killing and absorbing their victim's powers, shouldn't the "regular" Ardats be essentially harmless? :p

Baaahhhh, I don't really care, I love the game too much and I'm just nit-picking now, though I do have some legitimate gripes but that'd be getting off topic even further.

One thing's for certain, though, I'm really looking forward to my 2nd playthrough as my Renegade MaleShep who did kill Samara...I wonder how/if Morinth will be involved with the banshee quest.

LOL Yes, yes I have, in fact that's what my FemShep walks around in all the time. xD It's funny to go into a war room and address a bunch of high ranking diplomats while looking like you're ready to go out to the clubs. At least the dress looks better than it did in ME 2. :p

Then there should be an option to have one massive gangbang orgy in Shepard's cabin just so EVERYONE can "releave the tension" and have a clear, focused head for the final fight. :p

Definitely. My Renegade Shep also killed Samara and had Morinth instead so seeing how that pans out is definitely something to look forward to.

Well, I'm not too knowledgable on the whole field of Banshees and Ardat-Yakshis, but I'd venture a guess as say there are varying degrees of severity and the more severe cases(without being lethal) could make for a "good" Banshee, so to speak. The thing I quoted from the wiki said "active or latent predispositions to becoming Ardat-Yakshi". There are only 3 known cases, but that doesn't mean there are more out there, there might be and most likely is, considering we see so many Banshees. I know it's somewhat of a weak explanation, but it's the one I've come up with so far.

I love the game as well, it's landed on a solid 4th favourite game of all time for me, ending included.

I liked the saber, until I needed to fire it very quickly, then I gave it up for the Phaeston again. I like being able to put a lot of bullets down range really quickly. But I also enjoyed the Falcon, nothing like fired a plethora of mini grenades at enemies.

For a large amount of time I was rocking out with a Sentry Turret, a Combat Drone, and a Defense Drone, so I didn't have to worry about being overrun by any enemies, especially seeing as I had a 200% recharge rate from only carrying 1 gun the entire time.

Yeah, but the loyalty missions in ME2 showed us that shaking up isn't the only way to get a clear head for what's probably going to be your last mission.

For what it's worth my Shepard has eyes for only ONE woman in the whole galaxy.
Ashley Williams. I've waited two years to have her be returned and I'll be buggered if I'm picking anyone else, she's my girl damn it.
Nothing will deter me from Ashley, not even a chocolate Natalie Portman that dispenses gold.

Haven't actually gotten around to playing Mass Effect 3 yet (bogged down with university work, this is the first morning I've had free in two weeks) I will have to wait a while before I get the chance to play my sexy shiny collector's edition of the game but second only to 'stop the reapers' (and yes I know all about the ending) is 'romance Ashley'. I've got the whole timeline of how the subplot works mapped out in my head and I'm going to do it.

Also for what it's worth I've seen the Ashley romance and it's beautiful. Felt a warm tingle up my spine when Shepard and Ash both said 'I love you'.
(Skip ahead to about 5:08)

That said after the experience with Ashley I think it might be a while before I ever let myself get so attached to a game character again. I'll just stick to indie games, games from the past and simple action games.

Anyway as for guns.... eh, whatever shoots bullets really well I suppose. Doesn't make much difference to me.

if the guns are anything like the last two games, then there is not much to be exited about. The whole ME series just seems like Heavy Rain with a little more combat.
