A cage of male goats (Being pulled by a car, the cage had wheels on the bottom) rolled over my foot.

Actually didn't hurt that much.
My brother had a huge metal industrial bin filled with concrete crush his foot. The doctor said that he would be surprised if a truck rolling over his foot would have done the same amount of damage. His foot got fucked up.

Not really that relevant to what you said, but foot injuries, yeah.

I haven't been in a crash, but a bicyclist once ran into our car as we waited at the stop lights. He hit the front part, went flying forward and faceplanted into the bonnet (hood). It may not sound it, but it was immensely funny to watch from close up. Then the bastard tried to give us false insurance details and stuff, cos he dinged our car.

So... no more toes?

OT: Meh, i was driving a go-cart somewere, and one of the wheels fell off. I was going pretty fast, so i hit the tire wall. No actual damage though, and its an awesome thing to talk about.

I cut my armpit when I fell on some football equipment (don't ask, it's a long story), and while I was searing with pain and lightly bleeding I just ignored it, stuck some napkins under it, and wondered where the salad bar was.

Though later I did get it treated, luckily it wasn't too deep, any deeper and I would have died from blood loss.

I got knocked off my bike on my way to junior high for the first time. I was more pissed the ***** drove off without offering compensation for my bike (it was pretty bad, wheels bent and chain snapped) than I was about the scar-inducing gash on my inner calf from the chain snapping.

It occurred to me later that I could literally see the deeper parts of my muscle in that gash.

On the other hand though, I missed the first week of Junior High. My friends tell me I missed the most ridiculously nerve-wracking experience they've ever had.

We were right behind a massive open-top pickup truck that sped over a speed bump- carrying pork refuse from a meat packing plant.

Mom nearly crashed when a severed pig head hit our windshield.

I once was biking home from 5th grade I believe, when I hit someone, flew a good 5 feet, and blacked out. I woke up 10 minutes later(the person was gone) perfectly fine. but it did ruin my biology project(it was a plant. I liked it and I was pissed when it was destroyed.)

When I was 11 I was biking down a really steep hill in the park. At the bottom of the hill were some wet leaves. The bike slides out from under me, I hit the ground, and the bike lands on top of me. It was not fun.

I use to live in these apartments when I was 10, it had a big hill that lead to the other apartments, I lived at the top of that hill, anyway me and a friend took turns riding a scooter down the hill, I hit a brick, lost control, fell off and hit my back against those things in front of parking spaces.

A friend of mine was hit by a taxi at 40mph. He lost his shoes and it screwed up his teeth but other than that he was fine...

I dropped a 200 pound generator on my toe at work on my first day which was a Friday last August, I meant to pick-up steel-toed boots that weekend. My toenail is still black and blue...

So, in the spirit of this experience, I ask you, Escapists: have you ever been in any odd accidents? And have you ever had your priorities as fucked up as this?
Spill all.
nope but what you were experiencing wasn't that odd really. it's called shock. it's a rather common thing to experience when you have something seriously bad happen to you.

if you want some awesome stories about shock, ask an EMT about it. guys are odd but for some reason a lot of women turn into rampaging sex fiends and get hyper-turned-on for some reason.

my friend once broke his nose playing baseball and had a blood shower of his shirt and all he did was looked down and goes "damn it i ruined my shirt" later he was passing it off as making a smart ass comment but really he was in shock and probly had no clue what he was doing.

here's a bit of description on shock, aka Acute Stress Reaction. they also say disorder but i think reaction is more fitting.

I haven't been in such a situation. But when I saw the thread title I was actually really worried that it would turn out to be something serious, like you were in hospital on life support or something. Ah well, hope you're doing alright and that you weren't too badly damaged. And that you managed to get another Subway (preferably from someone else in sympathy :D).
Aww, thanks Trivun! Yeah, I'm okay, and I got another sub (The guy from the shop saw me get hit as I was just outside, so he game me another one), which tasted extra nice because I wasn't hit by a bus this time :)

Ha, that reminds me of the many times I fell off my bike.

One time I feel off to the side, and my arm got caught on the edge of a flower bed boarder and I got a HUGE gash on my arm.
Another time I was at the park riding my bike, then I flew off in the air for whatever reason, and I swear 5 seconds later the bike fell on me.
Another another time I was at the same park I believe, and I was riding so fast that I ended up riding into the lake at the center of the park. Had to undress and get new clothes.
Another another another time, apparently as a baby I was hit by a bike and went for a little plane ride, with blood gushing everywhere. Don't remember it though...

Haven't rode a bike in years, I wonder why...

Subway is awesome, I'd flip out in precisely the same way - Hope you got another another one (bought by the bus driver for poetic justice)

As for me, I haven't really been in any major accidents. But I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't prioritise the actual accident is there was food or something around.

Well, I was once chasing a mate, and he tripped up, then I tripped up over him, and went slamming into a brick wall. It hurt quite a lot, but I thought "Ah, I'll just walk it off". After two hours of exercise, I went home, complained about the pain, my Mum took me to the hospital, and it turned out that I'd cracked a bunch of ribs.
