I told him not to try anything on you and that if he wanted to change that he could try and beat me in a fight behind the hotel. He showed up, and I kicked his ass. He tried to challenge that I didn't want him fucking you. What does that tell you?" Joseph tried to loosen the vines, but it was futile. Sil also does not remember ever speaking to anyone in her life. Sil spends as much time as she can helping others, it soothes, in part, the deep loneliness she feels.
despite her desire to help others, and her loneliness, Sil has had few lasting companions in the wastes. she spent most of her life living and being trained by an older wanderer, who gave her the sword she carries. not long ago, her mentor disappeared, and she has been wandering since then.

Rachael stood there looking at both of the men, and thinks to herself. Shit.. who do I believe.. Joseph seems content, but Danes crying..
She realeases Joseph and moves the vines over to Dane, "Dane.. i'm sorry, you just can't be trust while Higginson is still inside you.."

She starts to cry, feeling content with what is happening. She had to choose between her father figure and a new person she has met that she really enjoyed being around. Suddenly a large vine cracks the ground around her, and she falls.

As she falls, she sees visions of the past. Before this world, suddenly bombs fill the sky and they hit the ground, the world destroyed. She looks around to be back at the scene of the fight again, but on the ground. The vines still entangle Dane and Joseph is holding her in his arms.

"What.. what happened..?"

"You passed out during me and Dane's fight. You released me and left Dan there. And don't worry about him, he wont bother you anymore." Joseph said when Rachael woke up. "He's still going to travel with us, but I think I handled him when it comes to how far I'll let him go with you." He said with a slight smile, which Rachael probably couldn't see past his cloak. "Now, let's get you back to the hotel. Think you can walk from here? I can still carry you if you can't." Joseph said after a moment.

"I saw.. metal things.. in the sky, and when they hit.. they would erupt into flames.. what was that..?" Rachael dimissed it and decided it was just a dream.
"Yes, I can walk from here.. don't worry, I think I can."

"Probably the bombs. The world wasn't always like this, it used to be beautiful and green, not like this." Joseph set Rachael down on the ground. "My parents kept all of these books and pictures of what the world was. There where huge monuments to wars that where fought over the death of a single man, and one of the death of millions. But that's another story. Unless you want to know about the old world." Joseph said. He noticed a man coming up behind them. He stepped in front of the man, but also in front of Rachael. "Can I help you, sir?"

"Fucker!" Joseph screamed as the man leaped on him. "Rachael, get my gun! It's behind the hotel!" He screamed as he struggled with the man on top of him. "You think you can fuck with me with no consequences?" He grabbed the man's arm and slammed it into the ground. "Well, you've got something else coming!" He kicked the man in the stomach, hoping it would have an effect.

"Shit, and I just got the blood off from the last time I kicked your ass." Joseph said to Dane. He waited for the dead man to bight at his neck, then grabbed the head of it and slammed it into the ground. He kneed it in the stomach and threw the body off of him. "I never thought you would go so far as to try and kill em for her, or just for your own personal vendetta. Either way, you're one sick bastard, and I am not letting you touch Warner or Rachael." Joseph saw that the body was starting to get up, so he stomped on it's head to kill it. "I can either let you go, and never see you again, or I could kill you now, you decide."

Rachael walks over and kicks Dane in the head. "Fucking piece of shit.." She makes the vines sprout from the ground and cover his body including every single finger. "That should hold him enough."

She picks him up and walks to the 'hotel'.

"Yeah, we should get him back. I'll watch him and make sure he doesn't try anything. He seems like he would be a nice kid if not for the whole crazy part. Maybe we should try and get him some help." Joseph said as the approached the hotel. "Hold on, I'm gonna get my gun, then I'll come inside." He walked back to behind the hotel, his shotgun waiting for him where he left it. He picked it up and slung it around his back. I'm getting to controlling. My entire life was controlled because I was supposed to be the child of the end, and I don't want that for Rachael, I wouldn't want that for my own daughter. He walked back to Rachael. "Alright, got it back. Let's get this guy tied up before someone get's hurt."
