This, so much. And rediculas. I'm usually not a big stickler either, but come on, are you freaking retarded?-Stranger- said:Me, I'd have to go with people who spell definitely with an a. Definately, definitaly, or the best, defiantly. I usually don't get too concerned when people spell badly, after all, it's what they're saying that counts. This one always irks me, though.
Yes, I also hate you for this.Cylem said:Personally, I hate myself for always misspelling ?ridiculous?. For the longest time I was spelling it ?rediculous?. D:
"Teh" is not phonetic, the silent "e" on the end of either "place" or "playce" is not phonetic, and "like" is equally as phonetic as "lyke" even though the silent "e" is not phonetic either.scrambledeggs said:teh intahnetz is teh playce faw fonix. if u downt lyke it, back off.
Damn, you're good...DerangedBeing said:A forum post should be like a skirt: Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.
The e is phonetic in that without it, the word would be pronounced playk. Teh is a common internet colloquialism, as is lyke. I would expect someone who frequents a gaming forum to understand that.Phlopsy said:"Teh" is not phonetic, the silent "e" on the end of either "place" or "playce" is not phonetic, and "like" is equally as phonetic as "lyke" even though the silent "e" is not phonetic either.scrambledeggs said:teh intahnetz is teh playce faw fonix. if u downt lyke it, back off.
In short, no.

But I can't fucking stand it when people don't capitalize "I" repeatedly or just don't acknowledge the existence of the shift key. It's all the worse when they use full words, because then it's not a huge stretch to the shift key if you're already typing out full words.
Oh, and seeing your/you're always pisses me off.
