BACKSTORY, ACTUAL THREAD STARTS AT NEXT CAPSLOCK POINT

So I just got back from Liverpool, Anfield. I was at the Stoke game and then derailed to London for a day and then got back home a few hours ago. I am a Finn so I have to fly and stuff so it takes a little time.

What does a Finn do as a LFC fan you might ask?
Short Answer: Sami Hyypiä
I have a longer version so ask for it if you want but it isn't intersteing in any way.

Since I turned 18 I've been 4 times to Anfield, I try to go once a year with a friend (and extra friends who are interested but not too hardcore fans) and the games I've been to so far are:
Liverpool - Sunderland
Liverpool - Napoli
Liverpool - Wigan
Liverpool - Stoke


THE ACTUAL QUESTION

I noticed that there isn't a LFC UserGroup on this site.
How many here are LFC fans?
If you're not a Liverpool fan and still here and reading then what team do you support?
I thought that if there are even a few people here interested in discussing LiverpoolFC, the City, matches etc then I could make a UserGroup for this.
Also people who go for the first time could ask for help from people who've been there about the city, getting to Anfield, hotels etc.
Is there interest on this site for this? Personally I'd like to have someone else than my IRL friends to talk to about my team and get a wider vision on what people think and since people here generally are nice I could avoid the shitheads of the internet and have good discussions.
And if someone happens to be going to the same game why not meet up IRL?

Actually, I'm more of an Alex Ferguson fan. If he ever leaves United, I'll probably stop bothering.

Dundee United fan, and the main thing I can say about Liverpool FC is that I really don't like Luis Suarez. Although that started before he went to Liverpool, he hasn't exactly endeared himself since then.

And some of their fans go on about their history a bit more than I'd like.

I've haven't been to a match in awhile, hopefully I will get to one at some point this season.

I think the history is a good thing but as I started following Hyypiä as a player first and only then as he became something special there I started to root for the club at the same time, for me there's only 1 ChampionsLeague, 1 FA-cup and 1 LeagueCup.
Certainly wish they give Brendan a few seasons to try his stuff before they sack him in case it goes only downhill.

I don't like the Europa League much, you see.

Meh, Wolves fan meself, though I wouldn't mind seeing Liverpool making a come back one of the years and winning the Prem, just so then all of the Big 4 would have won the Prem at least once.

I don't mind Liverpool at all, they are pretty good. But I'm an Arsenal fan! Always have been and always will be! Sadly I have yet to go to a match, my family have membership cards, 2 of them, so my mum and brother go since they are bigger fans. One day I shall though! I can't wait!

The problem is that between underperforming in the league and the whole Evra-Suarez affair, theres no way to banter with a Liverpool fan without going under the belt.

Anyway, to be fair, my second favorite match containing an English club was the CL final Liverpool had against Milan. That was incredible.

I noticed there's pretty much going on about the FA in the papers during my weekend stay in Liverpool, like that all the time?
The biggest problem with the football today is the diving I think. I play myself and I like my football physical so that diving is something I never really understood.

Not a shabby idea that either.
There are a few groups for a single club but this might actioually make group even semi gib/active.

Given the limited number of people on this site with an interest for sport in the first place, that would probably be the better idea, otherwise I think I've only seen two other Liverpool fans apart from the OP. Man U fan here, btw.

OT: As with [user]Aris Khandr[/user], it'd be a hell of a lot better if there was a Premier League fans group. Liverpool FC alone wouldn't draw much of a membership.

There'd be a lot of ribbing in a PL group a la: 'Juan Mata, your argument is invalid', 'Cleverley so meant that', 'Santi Cazorla... Cesc who?!', 'Hurr hurr, Spurs and what Old Trafford duck?!' and what have you. Could work... though as a Fulham fan, I will display unreserved contempt for Chelsea fans... 'cos where's Stamford Bridge? Fulham... -_-
