Tell you what, I always liked Liverpool...but suddenly (I guess Dalglish era) something changed.
Who knows xD. Still, it's exciting for me that we're -finally- a 'better' team than LFC now. Don't mind my childishness.
Haha oh bless!
...Everything except the new third kit, I hope:/.

Who do I support? Who do you think? I have toyed with the idea of making a user group for the Premier League as a whole, though.
Hello from this thread again :)
Well the international break is on and this thread showed some interest in a Barclays Premiere League user group.
You/We up to make one?
My knowledge about user groups is very limited but we could make one together if that's possible?!

Haha, nope. Yet another Manchester United fan here. I haven't had a chance to watch them a whole lot this season, but oh well.

I know bugger all about how user groups work, but I set one up anyway.

Off to bed, myself, but I'll see about making it more livable tomorrow.

What was it like growing up in Surrey?
This is kind of hilarious since the OP is a Finnish Liverpool fan.

I'm a Man United fan also. I must say that I have been watching Liverpool the last couple of seasons with a sort of childish glee at their misfortunes. Especially after things like their unrelenting support of Suarez after the racism thing, they've just not been covering themselves in glory lately. Not to mention their transfer policy. Downing, Carroll, Henderson, but then they couldn't stump up £6 million for Clint Dempsey?

Also, I'd join a EPL group. It would be nice to be able to discuss football some more.

It's been a long, long time since liverpool had any real glory (what they've won in the last 20+ years where hardly decisive in terms of outright wins, like they used to achieve).

True, but you've got problems of your own... after a fashion... losing at home to Tottenham... tut tut tut! =P

Though to be fair, Man U have had a very sluggish start to the season... only really got into their playing stride at St James' Park really...

Woo Liverpool! I'm from Australia, and been a fan since I was 9, since that was the team my friend supported, I think because his parents were from there. Anyway the reason has become very irrelevant and I'm still following them after 10 years of no league title, and some really crappy seasons later. I've never been to Anfield but it's enough effort having to watch games from 12 or 2 in the morning over here and as a student I'm far too poor for such a thing :/

Soccer isn't a big part of my life but having grown up around friends far more athletic than I am, and constantly being brought along for kick arounds despite my absolutely shocking endurance, I've always had ties to it.

I'm a Swansea fan, but since Brendan Rogers did us proud, I've got some interest in seeing Liverpool do well this season. At the very least since he was one of the people asking you guys to stop sacking your managers every season and stick with Ken for a bit longer, it would be nice if he lasts more than a season. Saying that, there is a small(nasty) part of me that likes how the table looks at the moment. We finished ahead of Martinez last year and it's nice to look like this, even if it's only going to be for a couple more matches
It's a real shame since I agree that Rodgers is a pretty decent manager and has proven he does have quality, but Liverpool's board won't see the same way. He seems like he has a lot of vision and wants to put on a young, talented side for the next season, but his performance in this season might not let him see that through. I hope Liverpool does stick with him.

The funniest part about Liverpool supporters is their delusion that they're still a top team. Truth be told they're just another midtable club these days.

There is a Barclays Premiere League Group up now, just to join it, there's a link a few posts up on this page.

As a Pool fan I am completely agreeing on this.

We haven't had Championsleague football in 2 year? and as I said before since I actually started following them when Hyypiä arrived for me the titles that count are 1 CL, 1 FAcup and 1Carling cup.

Of course its nice with 3 trophies in 7 years but the two latter ones for most fans "don't really matter", for me it still is a trophy. And it's nice to have the 18 League titles and 5 CL under the belt but that means nothing watching the results today.

I like Brendan and I think the football we're playing looks nice and seems effective, UNTIL we get to the last part of the oppositions side, if we'd get that under controll like against Norwich then things might look a bit different, maybe in time.
