I like long hair on men. I think it can look great. My boyfriend has longish hair and gods I love it so much. Suits him perfectly. I hate the days where he says he has to go get it cut :(

I'm so into hair that it can be what makes a guy attractive or unattractive to me. The most smitten I've ever been with a guy got cooled down by a hella lot when he just had a haircut.

I'm trying not to be the "You'd look better if you did this" partner (he wouldn't, I'd just be more excited about it), but my boyfriend had a ponytail before I met him that I've seen photos of and man I'd love it if he grew it that long again. At least it's long enough that he got mistaken for a lady by a waiter the other day (despite having a scraggly beard... which I also love...)

I used to have really long hair. I regret it because looking back on it I looked ridiculous, there's only a few men that can pull it off and I'm not one of them.

Now I have it alot shorter and I think it looks alot better. Plus in terms of work and such I think it looks more professional.

i'm male and have long hair, i never really learned to care for it though as i was basically raised by homophobes i was taught short hair on guys was the way to go. well screw that i like long hair.

i think it looks good enough and dosn't take too much maintenance (though it takes FOREVER to dry)i just need to find something to do with my bangs since they're as long as the rest of it (i usually just pull it back in a ponytail) i havn't been able to afford a proper haircut in a few years and i don't like the idea of attempting it myself when i know nothing about what to do. i'll likely screw it up.

i do NOT have the face for a shaved head though... i look like a freekin' skinhead.

EDIT:
on OTHER men i don't really care as long as it looks good on them (yeah i'm gay) but i do kinda prefer long hair.

I have long hair, it grows at a truly batshit quick rate for a man.

For example i had it trimmed to 2 inches at the end of summer, its now back to 5 inches.

And if "pulling it off" refers to having it mostly straight but with a slight mess, my hair is like that with no input from me at all.

I'm currently growing mine out now. It's been a year now, and I've only cut the split ends once (Haircuts are really expensive here, and I don't trust myself to be able to cut them off without help properly.).

And yeah, I think it fits me. I'm masculine enough to not instantly look like a girl... from the front at least. From behind it's a while 'nother story.

It's not my personal preference, I prefer my men to have short hair. Some men can pull it off, but a lot of guys I know don't look good.

I had long hair in high school then cut it short because it was easier to maintain. I decided the other day to let it grow out again so I can donate to Locks of Love, or a similar organization though.

Greets!

As a male I've lived with short hair for most of my life, but in the last four or so years I've let my hair grow. I've now got what could be described as a mane flowing all the way to my lower back, I'm told that it can be really hard to grow hair that long on men.

One of the biggest issues I have with my hair is maintenance, since I'm used to short hair I didn't have to deal with tangles and what gets caught in clumps of hair, so I tend to spend longer in the bath and shower than I used to. I dont mind it really, I prefer longer hair to shorter hair now that I have some length.

Put this together with a beard and mustache and I do look quite well when properly kept.

My nails also have a tendency to grow quickly as well and I've been told that rapidly growing nails and hair is a sign of health. Suppose it is nice to see that I am healthy.

Fuck yeah!
I've been sporting long hair way before he who shall not be named destroyed the hairstyle.

I've had long hair for approx. 7 years.

I am a man and I have long hair. It doesn't bother me what someone wants to do with their hair. It is their hair.

Well I think it's fine, some look better than others, but to each his own. I have long hair that goes to the middle of my back and I've been told that I look good. I think one of the things that helps is my beard. I think if a man has long hair but no beard he looks a little strange, but with a beard he usually looks alright. To be honest I think that I'd look weird if I cut my hair.

So um what constitutes long hair? Cuz mine was like almost shoulder length at one point, and the girl I was going out with at the time said she was originally interested because of my hair lol

I've been growing my hair out for a while, it's gotten to the point where its just past my shoulders but since my hair is naturally curly, its longer when straightened it out which I have done in the past but it doesn't stay that way. I brush and wash my hair daily to upkeep it, it's a good amount of hair but upkeep isn't too bad. I've had a few moments where women have told me they would kill for my hair and two instances of people stroking my hair while I wasn't looking. My only two complaints I have about my long hair is its hard to put into a ponytail and the tangles I have in the mornings. Other than that, I like my long hair.

As an Islander, I must say it is very easy for me to have long hair and pull it off. I don't pull it off because I don't take care of my hair but even when it's messy girls have stated how beautiful it is. Also, some islanders get white hair earlier than most males and the long hair helps hide it.

I had long hair for years, I only recently decided to cut my hair short and in retrospect I looked ridiculous. Few men can pull it off with out looking ridiculous/like a total ponce...

I used to have hair down to my hips. Funny thing was it looked great if I had a beard, it looked horrible if I was clean shaven :/

I actually cut it off a year or so back and then remembered that I look horrible with short hair. Oh well. It will grow back, or fall out, getting on a bit now.

Although medium length actually suits me if I heavily style it, at one point I looked a scary amount like Gado from Bloody Roar......
