I can definitely understand over-played, however I disagree that they are over-rated because the riffs in those songs are great and I don't think anything compares to One. Think about it, both of those songs got their own video so Metallica could introduce their music to a wider a audience, of course most people will know those two songs but that doesn't make 'em worse. If I ever run into anyone that doesn't know their other songs I just say "your missing out".FirstToStrike said:What I don't like about One is that it is simply overplayed, just like enter sandman and maybe master of puppets. People only know Metallica for One and Enter sandman, it pisses me off, there are so many better songs than those overrated 2.Nazulu said:Actually One is there most famous song and a great build it is too.FirstToStrike said:Just no....sean.A7x said:About ten metallica songs, the best one being one

Damien by Iced earth

There are SO MANY MORE long Metallica songs that are better than One.
For example,
...And Justice for All
Mercyful Fate (Garage, Inc)
Orion
I will never understand why people just hate 'One' out of all Metallica songs, it's what got me into Metallica and out of Linkin Park, the instrumental at the end of it is still one of the best I have ever heard.
