It's been... One week since I had some sleep.
Got in a bet with a friend and took it too deep.
It's been 7 days and an afternoon
I finally passed right out in his mother's living room.

(Sung to the tune of 1 Week by the Barenaked Ladies)

Yeah, I do not wish to ever repeat that feat ever again.

Roughly 65-66 hours... That was when I realized maybe a 7 course semester was a little overboard... SLEPT LIKE DRIFTWOOD AFTER!

90 hours. Not by choice. At the 78 hour mark we got half an hour sleep. We woke up all sorts of fucked up. We couldn't navigate our way around the area we'd occupied for the past 90 hours, which was no bigger than 100m^2. Hallucinating was rampant. You'd see something, realise it wasn't real and turn your head away, when you turned back it was still there, fuck I hated that.

Also, this 90 hours wasn't 90 hours of nothing. It was constant physical labour. Between 2 of us we dug a hole that was 18 feet long by 5 foot deep, we then put a cgi roof over 12 foot of it and then put the dirt on top of the roof.

38 hours. I don't even think I could do that anymore. I have no idea how those of you who've done 50+ do it...

Lots of Mountain Dew, a driving desire to win and enough Super Nintendo Games to choke 50 angry nerds.

I was up for 80 hours or so.
At some point in the end I was running on sweets and porn.
I'm bloody serious, I can't even remmber why I chose to stay awake.
There were other minor incidents with 48 hours and much more frequent 36 hours . I'm currently planning to stay awake for 36 hours today, and I'm already halfway through. Wish me luck!

Yeah, it's one of those songs that I'll probably always tap my toe to and sing along with from my nursing home bed whenever it comes on the oldies station.

Somewhere in the 80-90 hours mark. It's fun stuff when you break the 48 hour barrier, you start having pretty awsome hallucinations. My favorite was when I was in a leture at Uni; the projector's screen morphed into a bright orange, ten foot tall man and started waving at me. Thankfully I've studied sleep deprivation quite extensivly, so I knew exactly what was happening and wasn't totally freaked out.

There was also one summer with a really bad heat wave and I barely slept more than two hours a night for almost a fortnight. That's not as bad as you might expect; you feel exhausted and your reflexes drop, but you don't have the vivid hallucinations of a straight stretch of not sleeping. After a few days your body starts ignoring its normal routine and going straight into REM (the important part of sleep, usually takes you an hour or so after closing your eyes to reach) as soon as you drop off, which is what allow this.

I see. Damn my caffeine tolerance, limited budget, lack of Super Nintendo, and lack of desire to do that (I feel like shit when I don't sleep, so I'd rather try to avoid that).

About 70-80 hours then I just crashed after that. I remember surviving high school on about 4 hours of sleep each and everyday, then just staying up on weekends and taking either Wednesday or Thursday off of school; For the whole year.

Oh, I don't recommend it, by any stretch of the imagination.... which was pretty stretched around hour 70, what with all the hallucinations.

Why would you even do that? After going through it, I can say, I would never voluntarily go through sleep dep, in fact, the one and only time I've done it was a necessity, and that remains the only reason I'll ever do sleep dep, which I can foresee happening again unfortunately.

Something like 60 hours. I was playing Dwarf Fortress, and it was Christmas break. I distinctly remember there being lots of coffee. Oh, and I literally yelled at the game's music to stop mocking me.

the longest I can remember staying a wake was a full twenty-four hours. I also went two days with only three hours of sleep. I was working nights at the time and had to watch my older niece during the day when my sister was in the hospital delivering my younger niece. That was so not fun.

I know what you mean. It's currently 1am and I wake up at 7 to get to school by 8.

They should really start at 9 or 10 if they want everyone to be awake.

A week... Roughly 7 and a half days before I passed out in the middle of the showroom floor at a tire store. Pipboys I think. Somehow I woke up enough to get in the car so I could be driven home, slept for about 3 days.

I was so out of my mind, seeing and hearing things... I didn't even know what was real after the 5th or 6th day. Not something I wish to experience again... ever...

Anymore I regularly stay up for 24-36 hours at a time... yay chronic pain!

112 hours. I was busy.

Would've been longer, but I passed out. Was woken up after three hours, got back to work.

Also, this was done with no caffeine or anything else that would help. In hindsight, I probably should've had some coffee, as much as I hate the stuff.
