I did just over 80 hours with a friend once when we were 16. We marathoned the X-Files and at the end watched Encino Man. Encino Man has never ever been as funny as that night let me tell you. My mate passed out and when I went to get a cup of water to throw on him to wake him up it was two days later and my mother had put me into bed after I fell asleep at the kitchen sink lol

It really wasn't that pleasant at the end. Like said before reality starts to twist. I couldn't do it now at all darn this aging thing.

You can die of a lack of sleep! A week apparently is the most the body can handle before it just shuts down! I don't know how those of you who did a week did it without serious consequences!!

How did you manage 80 hours? Were you trying to stay up or just happened to go into a really long movie fest?

No amazing feats to boast of. I value a regular sleep schedule and dislike being tired.

Edit: Sleeping schedule was disturbed by health issues, but I still made an effort to sleep. Can't report on how successful I was as I don't recall much from the period of time.

little more than 24 and really only cuz I was talking to a friend online and I figured, hey if I stay up another couple hours, I will have been up for 24 hours straight... so I did, then I went to sleep.

The longest I ever slept was when i got Final Fantasy 7, i stayed up for about 45 hours playing that game. Then when i went to my bed I slept for at least 28 hours.

I've stayed awake for a good forty-seven hours on no more then Netflix and a two liter bottle of Dr.Pepper. It was alright, things got a little loopy the last few hours or so.

Now, concerning my brother who serving in Afghanistan as a Marine, first he had to endure the dreaded Crucible, a week with no sleep, little food, and abut seventy pounds on your back. He thought that was bad, he got shipped out to "The Sandbox" and a few times he's had to pull a week or two with out it... He didn't enjoy it.

about two days, 50 hours? and then i napped periodically for like a week after throughout the daylight hours.

It feels kinda funny, like tingly, when you don't sleep, and don't feel tired.

24-27 hours. Apparently I have a low threshold for sleep deprivation. I was experiencing the hallucinations and that weird feeling. You know, the one where you feel like you are watching yourself from just above you.
