Longest download time (2%...............)

PC... Trying to download the "Cinematic Mod" for HL2. 8 fucking hours!

I was interested in what this was so I looked it up. Looks pretty cool, so I went ahead and downloaded it. It took about 12 minutes

Well horay for you. It still took me 8 fucking hours. 'Course, that's probably because I had to download it from a university connection (I live in a dorm).

Taken me a few weeks to get about 20% of all of Red Dwarf, very little seeders.

Back when the internet started. At least majorly. 15 years ago or so. We had the dailup. Even something as simple as a picture took like 7 or 8 seconds. Imagine the first time i tried to pull up a music video (Peaches by PUSA I think) on the MTv website. It took like an hour. Which was stupid since I could've watched it on TV cause back in those days MTv showed music videos.

Downloaded the first season of QI because my boxset was at home (which is 4 hours away by plane). It took a little more than a week. Which is sad, because I have a 100mbit/100mbit fiber connection.
