I'm at around 150 hours in Pokemon Platinum, still playing once in a while to finish my Pokedex and EV train my online team.

Maybe 100-120 hours in Mass Effect, on my 3rd character and about my 8th playthrough total. SCREW YOU SIDE MISSIONS. SCREW. YOU.

... and as sad as it is to admit, I'm at nearly 400 days played in WoW. So that's what, like 9,600 hours? I want those 4 years back. =(

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, though you could probably whip it off in about 35 hours or so if you just did the main story missions. I don't. I have a full fleet of painted and geared cars and every house in the game.

I'm also a freak.

I'm doing the shivering Isles. Why did I have to become duke? Why?!
Still, the game refuses to end, and I hate Martin so I'll never do the main storyline.
Wow. I've only seen Martin for a little bit. He's that bad?

The way I play Mass Effect
i.e
Pretend like it was a sci fi TV show and did a few side missions including the mission for Wrex and the love story with Ashley... helped make it last a long time. I advise playing Mass Effect and thinking of it more like a movie it gets that much more fun when you do that.

Tales of Symphonia, did 4-5 complete playthroughs. Also put about 100 hours into FFTA2, oh and over a month in total playtime into COD4... sorry that's actually my brother.

Um...any MMO in existance would probably be the longest, seeing as it doesn't really end as long as new content comes out.

Well, honetly, it varies by genre.

Rpg: Final Fantasy IX. 4 full disks of content, and it takes a damn long time to complete.
Sports/Racing: Gran Turismo 4. Never did beat the damn thing.
Fighter: Project Justice (Dreamcast). With a large fight list, full stories for all the fight teams, and a difficulty curve like a brick wall, this game took me damn near forever. I didn't even go near 100% on it either
Action/Adventure: Shadow of the Colossus. It may not have been that long itself, but it took damn near forever to find the fucking things...
Shooter: Slave Zero (Dreamcast) or Armored Core: Last Raven. Slave Zero was just a really, really long game, and Armored Core had wayyyy too many endings.
Action/Horror: Devil May Cry 3. It took too long to get everything done, even if it was fairly easy. (Note: I played it on normal mode. Why was everyone bitching about that difficulty curve? It was pretty gentle, at least to me)
Tactical/Sim: Final Fantasy Tactics (PS). Very hard, but certainly the most fun I've had getting my ass handed to me.

Aw, come on guys, MMO's don't count.

The game I've probably logged the most hours on is, sadly, Pokemon Ruby. I got all 300 or some odd Pokemon, but I had fun doing it.

Fallout 3 is probably in a close second.

Edit: I forgot about Monster Hunter Freedom 2. I have like 500 hours on that. Every weekend for like three months after it came out, my friend would come over and we'd play it non-stop. I love that game. Never did get the highest hunter rank though... damn dual Tigrex.

for me it's Final Fantasy 12
This for me as well. I never actually beat it, but I did pour over 80 hours into my final attempt at the game, pushing the total play time to over 120 hours. My senior year of high school was such a joke I actually could put this much time into a game.
