I'd probably say Lost Odyssey if we're not counting MMO's. Though that might be because I spent quite a while leveling up...

Morrowind... I mean. If you're out in the wilderness and the stilt striders are very far away, you don't have fast travel (I miss this) and you're going to be walking and walking until you get somewhere.
I've logged over 400hours on that game from when I got it 2004 to this date.

Yeah, those were some good times.

The original Black and white took ages on your first play through. But I've probally spent more hours playing Wolf:ET than any other game, it got me into onlie FPS's, and I hope that wolfenstien 2's multiplayer can live up to that amazing game.

For the longest game I would have to go for an old one called Captive. The central plot took well over 400 hours to complete but then had pretty much infinate content after that. Apart from that Daggerfall is probably the largest game in an open world enviroment.
