Pulled a sponsored 24 hour session to raise a bit of money for charity, back in August.

When I tried to sleep afterwards, all I could see when I closed my eyes were Starcraft 2 units.

When super Mario galaxy came out me and my friend spent two days straight getting 100% completion. We had to take shifts, player 2 would usually fall asleep.

I don't know. I don't really do long uninterrupted gaming sessions. My friend and I used to play the Smackdown Wrestling games for ages back in Middle school, but I'd say about 6 hours maybe as a maximum?

You know I really don't play that many games. It is bizarre. I think that I've played fewer games since I joined the escapist. I spend most of my computer time just browsing the web.I also blame my PS3 being in the family room so I can only play that for a short while before someone comes and disturbs me. My problem is I can't play games when other people are around, or late at night. I can play when my friends are about, but if a family member is in the house, even if I'm in my room I can't relax and get into a game. Therefore I can only comfortably game if:

A) I'm not at work
B) Everyone else is out or away
C) I have a long stretch of free time
D) There is nothing good on TV or Online that day

Things are worse at the minute because my PS3 is broken and my mother made me plug my PC into the living room TV so she can watch shows on BBC iPlayer. This sucks because the games I want to play like Civ V won't run in the resolution I have to put the PC in to work with the TV (which has black bars around the screen as well) and there is no desk to rest my mouse and keyboard on in a comfortable position so even typing this is a massive pain in the wrist (I am using my stomach as a mousemat). Plus everyone wants to watch TV.

Erm, probably 7:30am breakfast until 1-1:30am, all of the time playing Sauerbraten, stopping for dinner.

Owning a clan takes up a shitload of time. I know, I've made 4...

Around 10 hours, one time Kingdom Hearts 2, and on several other occasions, Animal Crossing for the Gamecube. I don't have the patience for that anymore. Now my longer sessions are only around 3 or 4 hours, though I might have devoted a little more time to finishing Bioshock 2 on rental.

Probably close to 10 hours. This goes multiple times when I did a straight run of Dead Space in a single night to prove to my friend I could do it. The other time was for Bioshock because I straight up couldn't put the controller down.

I remember when me and a friend had the luxury of two tv's >:) I completed resident evil 4 on proffesional while he completed MGS 3 on hard I think (he didn't kill anyone and only got seen once or twice). We only stopped for bathroom and we had come prepared so there was no need for snack breaks! After that we swappped over...

52 hours, pausing only for about 6 hours of sleep in the middle.

First time I played Dragon Age.

Also did it again for ME1 & ME2 when ME2 came out, don't know exactly how long that took me, though.

Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster. 'Sup.

Longest for me was just over 24 hours on Guitar Hero for a charity-raisin' world record. I thought the lack of sleep or repetitive strain injury would have been the worst bit, it was actually the motion sickness and bladder issues that nearly killed me. There's a vid of the highlights here: http://www.warlockmedia.com/gh-video.html

Thing is, I thought that was hardcore - I couldn't imagine some of the other comments (particularly SomeLameStuff's 70ish hour Mass Effect run). And they're not trying to prove anything either... just playing for fun, I rarely run past 8 hours.

About a month ago, I had a friend bring his laptop to my house and we had some mad 2v2 matches on Starcraft 2 for about 7-8 hours. However, I did have to take a few breaks in order to eat, piss, and go for a walk.

I played Risk for three straight days once. I didn't sleep, and didn't stop except for pizza.

Eight hours, when my friends and I first got Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

Though according to my Wii, my longest stretch is 24 hours exactly on Super Mario Bros. 3, but that was because I forgot to turn the system off and didn't touch it for like... A day.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King launch. 60 hours straight only with bathroom breaks or to grab food or drinks from the kitchen eating it at my desk; no sleep, no leaving the house. I still didn't get realm first level 80 character in my race or class (fucker beat me by 90 minutes), but I did end the week with the Obsidian Slayer, Conquer of Naxxramas, and Magic Seeker titles.
