Longest time spent playing a game?

16 hours straight in Everquest. I didn't play it again for almost a month after that. I felt just sick...literally sick!

City of Heroes : over six hundred hours. Possibly Everquest was more, but that didn't have a timer.

In one go...I clocked the TMNT arcade game twice in one sitting...

At Home, I played Civ/X-Com for 12 hours straight.

I have LRP'ed for 48 continuous hours though.

I spent about 10 hours straight playing The Sims 2 when it first came out. That game will suck away time like a hoover with a flux capacitor.

Lets see. I'd have to say about eh... 9:00am to 2:30am so nearly 18 hours playing SOTEOT (Star Ocean: 'Till the End of Time) God... if you can sit through the hour long cutscenes, that is the best game ever

My sister claims that i played Resident Evil 4, ps2, for 6 hrs once, which i cannot remember (for some reason).
The longest i DO remember is playin Predator Concrete Jungle, ps2, for about 4 hrs.
I think i win.

I once read a Tom Clancy novel for twenty-four hours straight, and watched a DVD set of a 24-episode series for the full eighteen hours it took to watch the whole thing back to back. Can't remember doing that with a game, although if I ever did, it was probably one of the Warcraft series!

a 8 hour grind from 55 to 60 in wow followed by my first ZG run which lasted for 10 hours...
in total 18 hours on something i want to forget.

I did a couple of 16-hour stretches on Civ1, XCom, and SimCity back in the days of either student-hood or unemployment.

Now that I'm an (obstensibly) responsible adult that doesn't happen, but I did find myself looking up at the clock at 11:00 on New Year's Eve last year to see that I'd inadvertantly spent the previous 10 hours playing Mass Effect... totally blew off a party invitation without even meaning to.

I don't have much to compare with fellow posters but my longest gaming run is probably about 16 hours of non-stop Oblivion, nothing in my life has ever been both more tiring or more satisfying

I did record me playing wow 24hours in 1 sitting, in that time, i got 1/3 t1 and almost 1/2 of my tier two and boosted my arena scored and such... Also I feel asleep playing mass efect 2 times in one sitting

Oblivion by miles. I had some sessions where I would keep telling myself, "Okay, one more quest in the Dark Brotherhood" and then all of the sudden it was the next day and I had just finished all the factions.

Timesplitters 3 multiplayer statistics over the course of a year stated I had spent 11 days solidly on the game. That was one very hazy yet enjoyable summer holiday.

Longest in one sitting about 14 hours on Halo 2, I loved Team Swat so much xD.

Well at one time my longest was 9, and that was when Halo 3 came out at midnight. I beat the campaign in 6 hours then played another 3 on multiplayer before calling it a morning. But the most time played on 1 game has to be World of Warcraft, with around 2,300 hours. I'm so glad I dont play that anymore!
