Game preference has less to do with gender and more to do with personal likes and dislikes. Although a game may be marketed towards a specific gender stereotype doesn't mean that both sexes cannot enjoy the game. Games are predominantly marketed towards males because they're the largest game playing demographic. I would recommend to broaden your gaming horizons and try out these "manly" games. As a female gamer I can tell you they're a ton of fun and a lot better than anything globbed in flowers or glitter.

I look for PS3, minis and PSN Games directed to girls. Anybody knows good Game-Titles for PS3? I mean like Flower or Little Big Planet. (Why there are'nt enough on GirlsGames market?/We're animals or what?!)
Kisses!
Define girly games 'cos there is blade kitten or something on PSN and theres modnation racers which is kinda of gender neutral.

But I know girls who adore black ops.

Gonna have to be a little specific as to what you mean by 'girl' games. I don't know what flower is but LBP isn't a 'girl' game, is a social platformer at best, a party game at worst. Not really the kinda thing that fits into your sexual dichotomy.
:D LBP it's not a 'girl' game? Not exactly but yes. I think. How do you explain all LBP clothes and items? It's a little bit girly

Ok, it's a wild world, boys playing Flower and girls "God of War"
So, OP, there are games which are manly and games that aren't?
I'm male and I like Flower (the example you mentioned), LEGO games, hell, I even play a Hello Kittie game (what <.<). I prefer games with emotion, clever use of colours and thinking, and artsy games over shooters any day (although I do play them, too).
And most girls who play video games (I refuse to use the word "gamer") play games like Black Ops or God of War as well.
You sound like you think that men should play FPS and brutal action games and girls should play "artsy" and cute ones.

Sorry, but I really, REALLY, REALLY hate generalizations.

Should I change it for "I speak on behalf on 60% Girls on Escapist"?
I fail to see how you come up with 60% and how that would make it any better.

/little rant

There are tons of good old PS1 classics, as well as many good downloadable games, such as Bomberman Ultra, Trine, Worms 2: Armageddon etc.
Who said there have to be certain games specially marketed to girls anyway?

EDIT: Posted a bit late, it seems, since a lot of people have already brought up a lot of good points regarding gender and such. It also feels like the OP is either a troll, or just really, REALLY narrow-minded.

That's pretty shortsighted, don't you think?
I'm a girl and I like metal Gear Solid 4, Dead Space, Blazblue, Tron:Evolution, Resistance 2, Lostplanet 2, Arkham Asylum, inFamous, Dark Void, Demon's Souls, and a whole mess of other non-cutesie games.
In regards to the types of games you like, i'd suggest Naughty Bear, or Fairytale Fights, but neither of those are any good, so I'll just say Fat Princess.

Thank you for you suggestion :)

I explain it the same way I explain any game like it with extreme amounts of DLC: It's all fluff just there in attempt to add more to the game. And a few DLC skins hardly make it a 'girl' game, nor the idea of outfits in general. Or purrhaps you'd like to discuss it with this community...

Edit: Also, those powerpuff girl skins are WAYYYYY too creepy. I remember watching that show(And enjoying it no less!) way back when I was in high school, and I don't remember it being so horrifying...

Why do you say you speak on behalf of all the Escapist girls. Some may not like those kinds of games, and may prefer "manly" games, or all kinds of games. Sorry, but I have to post that.

...Why?
I mean, of all the 'Scapists on here, I may just be the most steriotyically femenine. I enjoy Martha Stewart's shows, I covet nice appliances, and if you ask the IRC, I'm in the kitchen all the time.

But I still enjoy God of War, Killing Floor, and the likes. (OK, yes, I do scream when playing Killing Floor, but that doesn't stop me!)
Why don't you just pick up any game considered great on the PS3 and give it a try?

Wait, games dedicated to girls or games that appeal to girls? Huge difference there.

83% of statistics are made up on the spot.

Also I don't see a legitimate way tot respond to this thread. Everyone else has said what I think about how gender doesn't define what kind of games you like.

I think that's just someone using in game content to make the powerpuff girls, not even a special item pack/skin.

But yeah, your gender doesn't and shouldn't dictate what your tastes in media are, especially games. I feel like OP's either trolling or is very newly introduced to gaming. Like, just got a PS3 for your birthday and wonder what's supposed to go inside it.
