Hey all, I'm looking for some new stuff to get into currently I'm watching Deadman Wonderland, Blood+ and i just finished watching all of the Ghost In The Shell and Vampire Night, so I want something new to get into I've also seen: Inital D, Gundam Wing, Full Metal Alchimest, Death Note (series and movie), Fruits Basket, Howl's Moving Castle, FF: Advent Children and FF: Spirits Within just to name a few so if anyone has any suggestion they might think are relative to the previously mentioned stuff or something different I'm open to most things that would be good, thanks in advance.

Well, if you haven't seen the rest of the Miyazaki movies I would strongly suggest that. Other than that, you can't go wrong with Satoshi Kon - Paranoia Agent, Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers, and Millenium Actress are all amazing.

Wow, we really get a lot of these threads. Go watch Black Lagoon, Sengoku Basara, and Samurai Champloo. And if you consider yourself a real man you need to see Gurren Lagann.

This may be a bit outside of your normal genres, but I can recommend Clannad above pretty much all else. It's a romance/comedy/drama. If that's not your thing... watch it anyway. Even if you think you'll hate it, watch it so you can try to prove me wrong when I say the second and final season will make you cry. A lot. You will try not to, you will brace yourself, but you will fail. If you don't cry in Clannad, you have no soul.

Gurren Lagaan for men? Pff, i thought it was more for prepubescent boys who like to play with robots.

Would have been of more help if you had said what you enjoy watching instead what you have seen.

Anyhow.

If you like a Mystery and Psychological kinda anime watch
Death Note or Code Geass.

If you like a Horror, Action and Psychological kinda Anime watch
Elfen Lied.

If you like a Romance Comedy that is happening in a School watch
Clanned.

If you like girls playing instrumment and being funny watch
K-ON!

If you like Adventurous Action with Magic watch
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

If you like an Depressed teacher teaching a weird class of individuals watch
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

If you like sports with individuals that you can follow growing watch
Eyeshield21.

If you like small girls throwing magic around with a cute pet that is following them around watch
Cardcaptor Sakura

If you like small girls throwing magic around with a cute pet that is following them around but targeted to a older audience watch
Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica

If you like robots fighting with comedy throw in watch
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

If you like robots fighting with Psychological elements throw in watch
Neon Genesis Evangelion

If you like to watch a poor girl surrounded by a lot of rich handsome guys watch
Ouran High School Host Club.

Of course all of the above anime series are really good.

For more anime of my choice, here is a list of what I have seen and like.

I second all those. Didn't see Cowboy Bebop on your list, watch that too.

Wolf's Rain. That's always my top suggestion to just about anyone. It's one of the best anime out there in my opinion.

Fruits Basket
I'm know a butt ton of romantic comedies for you if you're into that kind of stuff. My favourites would be:

Hayate no Gotoku (not that much romance, just a really quirky/cute/meta series)
Tora dora (can get pretty romantic at times which is good if you're into it.)
Ai Kora (manga only)(Bloody funny ecchi/harem story about a guy that is obsessed with body parts that look a specific way)
Midori no Hibi (Just plain funny with a fair bit of romance occasionally)
Kodomo no Jikkan (if you can stand the mild loli it actually has some pretty meaningful themes like what defines a child/adult etc.)

And I just realised why I'm such a pansy ass...

You may also like to check out Code Geass which is kind of a cross between Death Note and Gundam.

With the mention of Clannad and Clannad Afterstory, I recommend another title by the same people called Kanon, also FLCL is the most epic 6 episode anime you could ever watch.

EDIT:This link will go to what I've watched and have dropped after a few episodes, you can follow it closely, especially when it comes to the dropped ones.

What I want to know is when the fuck is Ghibli's The Borrowers gonna be released over here?

As for new anime shows, I don't know, the stuff all sucks in my opinion.

Hellsing Ultimate, Cowboy Bebop are good. You should also Watch elfen Lied...totally no mind-rape, innocence-destroying based material there. No sir! *shifty eyes*
