We need some more ppl to make our guild!

If you still need more people, I can create a body or two on the server just to take up space. I could also potentially start the kin if you don't have another VIP member available to do so (I don't think f2p players can start kins/guilds), but I think there may be a minimum xp level required for starting a kin... plus I have no money on Crick and I think there's a small fee too.. but if you need me, just let me know.

It doesn't say anything about restrictions in the game for Kins, I'm F2P and I can at least buy the charter. Nothing about a level cap either. Creating a couple of extra bodies would be amazing, actually. I might do it myself. You'd probably have to get out of the starting zones though.

Good point about the tutorial zones as I'm not sure if you can skip those on a server with no previous character history. As for the kin starting limitations, you may be right. I just recall hearing there were limits on it for free players but it wasn't anything I ever looked in to. I'll head in right now and just see about the tutorial skipping options.

Damn game won't install properly. Says that the sound files and one of the class videos aren't copying over properly. I tried to run the game as is, but it crashes whenever I do. I've even uninstalled/reinstalled it several times, as well as deleted the setup and sitting through another 16 hours to download it again... to get the same messages while installing again.

The support's down on the site for some strange reason, so I'm wondering if anybody here could assist me.

Well after downloading and trying to install the game at least a dozen times, I have now found out that the setup wouldn't run correctly because of my anti-virus. Just installing now so hopefully will be joining you all tomorrow. Or later on today really.

Best of luck. And yeah, it does seem that something they added or changed in making the F2P transition had started causing issues with firewalls and antivirus programs. I haven't experienced it myself but it's been mentioned numerous times on the official forums.

So it sounds like some of you other escapists are sorta starting up a group or whatever. What server are you guys on exactly? I'm interested in playing this game with some other people rather than just alone.

After a seven hour download I cannot run the game because client_cell_1.dat and client_sound.dat were corrupted and wouldn't install. I really am glad I didn't have to pay for this game.

Anybody willing to send me those two files via email, over xfire or windows live messenger by any chance? I really don't want to have to download the client again.

that's not as bad as the ff14 open beta problem i have the damn thing starts then dies and i haven't even been able to download it other then the beta client thing

Been what.. about a week and I am already kind of bored with this game again. Just dont find it all that good and there is alot of crap to deal with on the server my friend dragged me to with lag, queues and so on. Turbine seem to be good at this cash shop F2P model, but the games they make are just dull.

If you're having problems with corrupted files try turning off your anti-virus during the download. It worked for me in the end.
