An incredibly LONG download, but it's a cool game so far. Like the music and the story, and the combat is pretty smooth. Probably won't put that much time into it though. Playing Vindictus once the Beta starts, can't wait! Hopefully, it won't suck.

Going to bet, foul mouthed children who are the spawn of way too wealthy parents that spoil them.

I'll let you know if my prediction is correct after I finish this whole installation that I thought was done already >_>.

I just started the download! I am more than willing to join an Escapist fellowship, I'm going to definitely be a wizard, or ranged DPS, something magic based. send me a message with more details!!!

Hunter is arguably the best ranged DPS in the game. Seriously, the get some insane damage eventually.

Level 5 Captain Human Korten, Crinkhollow. Add me to your guys friend list, also would it be possible for us to get a group going on here so then it will be easier for us to all have a fellowship, guild thing.

anyone else notice the water graphics are amazing!?

Crinkhollow, Champion Dwarf Rastian.

I can't really notice water, considering where I am so is so frozen. Also that Goblin quest was annoying considering there's only one of em and like 10 of us were fighting for it, with a few minute respawn time.

Oh well. Also game crashed leaving Mirkstone mines.

It's kind of sad that I can take on 3 enemies my lvl already at lvl 6.

Also haven't seen any foul language yet ^_^.

its a generic MMO with a high point in the Epic Storyline Quest you can follow, it has OK graphics and is pretty grindy in nature at times. Well worth a try for free tho, they are letting you do alot for a free account.

Heimdall the Dwarf guardian is alive and well on Crickhollow. Send me a request or whatever at some point. I literally have no idea what I'm doing. This could be interesting.

DO not assume this trend will hold once you leave the intro area. A well played champion can often take down 2 - 3 mobs at a time with lengthy rests in between, but guardians and wardens get worn down, hunters and lore masters get overwhelmed and so forth. Lore Masters and Burglers can presumably do the same thanks to their crowd control abilities, but your margin for error is pretty slim.

I didn't think it was all that grind happy. If you ignore the deeds. The deeds are nothing BUT grind. Sure, you don't HAVE to do such things, but you probably want those virtues and traits in the long run.

Did everyone decide to join Crickethollow? I could certainly start a character there. I want to give this rune keeper a try, but I could probably roll anything but a burgler or a hunter (I hate them. I hate them so much).

It sounds like that's where every one is going.

Maybe I'll try a burglar this time, it was like the only class I didnt' try for a bit. My main used to be a Warden, he was pretty fun to play but I always felt like I was behind when it came to tanking.

Seems like most of us did, yeah. Haven't been in contact with anyone yet. I just got out of the starting area and I'm a little overwhelmed. My inventory was suddenly filled with a load of crap, I immediately picked up about 5 quests and am in view of a load more and they just dumped a load of crafting stuff on me, without actually telling me where to find the rocks I need to mine.

But hey, I'm a Dwarf, so who cares.

Yeah, it's a bit overwhelming at first. I never really bothered with crafting myself, so I just kinda threw the stuff by the wayside.

I'm actually really interested in crafting, I've always enjoyed that sort of stuff. managed to find some rocks now so things are going alright.

The great thingis that I bought LOTRO a while ago for good money :/. Still, I might consider playing again, after all, if I am to play a MMORPG I might as well play one with a familiar theme...

I'll probably try crafting this time too.

My new characters name is a Burglar named Ballalost on the Crickethollow server, if anyone wants to add me.

I've noticed they've made some improvements to the starting areas. Thank god, because the human one was pretty dull.
