Anyone who read one of my older threads will know i have had vandalism problems in my area for some time. Lastnight's events just tops it off and has made me lost all respect to the young.

Anyway, i was out lastnight (i have a wicked hangover and a cold atm, ignore the errors).
I woke up this morning (feeling like P Diddy) and my Dad told me about a gang of 15 kids outside throwin stones at the window. We get this alot because my dad chases them and they love the thrill.

Well this time is different my dad went outside on the phone to the police and the one of the gang asked "why arnt you chasing us?"

Anyway long story short my dad told them about his medical conditions and my mothers, both involing heart troubles and disabilties. The group said sorry, the didnt know but to top it off, one of them asked this:

"Do you know anyone who would chase us?"

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

That kid needs to be stoned to death for sheer irony.

I cant see much discussion value here, only to ask if you have ever seen or met such stupidity that it made your blood boil?

edit: Clear up, when i say todays youth, i mean i have lost respect to them as of now. I previously had respect of them. Yes i no kids of all generations have done terrible things in past. Im meaning now, for myself, at this point, my opinion. You think things would only get better as time progresses.

If that was me..i would have shot them with a combination of a pellet and paintball guns. If they got a thrill from that, then i'd invite them in to show them my collection of various daggers and swords.

All I need to do is go to school and I see stupidity from the younger year levels (I'm in year 12 (senior)). I won't explain what they do because it would be too long and I'm tired.

Honestly that sounds like something kids from the 70s or 80s would say more than today's youth, but whatever. Vandalism sucks, stone throwing kids suck... but since the 50s has there ever been a generation of kids that DIDN'T do that stuff? I know a lot more malicious people in their late teens or early 20s than scared 15-year-olds looking for a thrill.

One of my friends had to recently clean grafitti off the side of her house because it was a rental and apparently that means she's responsible for the damage idiots did to the place. Needless to say, she wasn't very happy about it and I can understand why. Nothing pisses me off more than cleaning up after other's stupidity.

Ah the wonders of modern Laissez-faire parenting.
Dont confuse laissez-faire with "dont give a fuck about your children or what they do" , my experience in education says that THIS is the main problem. Suddenly parents are all so busy, burned out and stressed (former generations of parents obviously never had similar problems) that they need way more time for themselves and cant care for those brats all the time.

well actually that pretty much is the same, but out of different reasons..

Huh?

1. What does this have to do with today's youth? Kids have been doin' this shit for YEARS.

2. Stoned to death? Seriously? They sound pretty benign and that's just dumb.

3. You're posting threads hung-over asking to kill kids for minor vandalism. Not exactly the paradigm of maturity here.

'The children now love luxury; they show disrespect for elders and
love chatter in place of exercise. Children are tyrants, not servants
of the households. They no longer rise when their elders enter the
room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up
dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize over their
teachers.'

I always get this kind of shit when there is a lot of snow outside; multiple snowballs againt the window, several times per week.

Dammit, what's wrong with kids these days?

Enter the world of youth. Wait till they have jobs to take up their free time and the problem disappears until their days off. At least, from my experience with work and school that's the case.

There was a problem in my neighborhood with high school kids comming around and throwing rocks on our neighbors roof, don't ask me why, I don't know. That stopped really quick when said neighbor caught them in the act and walked outside with a shotgun, watching them run screaming down the street was one of the funniest things i'd ever seen, haven't seen them since.

Anyone throws stuff at my house and I go outside with my shotgun. If they don't run for the hills when I cock it, I start shooting until it stops moving. I have good aim, so it won't take much.

How on earth do you figure that this is a problem isolated to today's young people?

As far as I'm aware, bored gangs of young louts have been throwing stones at people's houses ever since the invention of the glass window.

I'm always annoyed by younger kids (Middle-schoolers on the bus, mostly), but I know that my age group was just as annoying and stupid as they are, so I give them some slack. While also whipping them into line.

Not unless he's a fat black man in his mid 40's. :D Going outside with a shotgun seems like a pretty normal reaction depending on where you live in America, if it was my house i'd probably react the same way.
