Earlier today i was playing on team fortress 2, on 2Fort (PC version).
i went pyro because i was getting annoyed at a spy constantly sapping my sentry.
anyway, i was crossing the bridge when a huntsman sniper walked off the battlements, shot his arrow at me, i managed to reflect it (which in itself is lucky for me)and i got a headshot on a cloaked spy, the same one who had been annoying me for the past twenty or so minutes.

but yeah, anyone else care to share their lucky moments in gaming.

This one time in MW2 I wasnt in the bottom few...... Yeah im really no that good at that game.

Or one time in Halo I stuck someone with a grenade, they ran past a pile of explosive barrels as it went off and took out another two people, which looked pretty cool.

Burnout 3: Takedown

Doing 200 miles per hour down one of the stretches connecting the autobahns in the Europe area, vying with my opponents left and right. Up ahead, an unfortunate driver collides with an eighteen wheeler, causing it to slide across the road, blocking both lanes. Just before I collide with it, it jack knifes, jammed against the barriers at each side of the road. It's huge momentum causes it to jerk upwards, briefly lifting a few metres off the ground as I glide underneath it. My rivals were not so lucky.

When I took a trip to the local landfill, and one of the workers came up to my window with a box. He explained that someone had left this here, and he would have to take it to the electronics area, or he could just give it to me. Contents of the box? A perfectly functional Super Nintendo with two controllers and four games, including Mario Paint and Sunset Riders. The only thing it's missing are the power and a/v cords: I need to find those still. But even then, holy crap. Awesome.

Rainbow Six: Vegas
Playing a clan match on Calypso Casino. One of the guys had been carrying the briefcase for almost the entire time, and he was not the brightest. I waited until about 10 seconds before the end, and I lined up my sights and prayed I would hit something. Sure enough, it was a headshot. Everyone else on the team stood there dumbfounded that someone had ACTUALLY hit him from that far away. Needless to say they didn't recover to score in time. Probably the funniest thing was the guy afterwards went "You cabbage! What the hell did you do that for?" and one of my buddies said "He was on the other team jackass."

Lots, but the most recent was probably on Wednesday when I was playing Silent Hunter III (with The Grey Wolves mod). I had been stalking a convoy for a couple of game-time days, come close enough to risk being spotted by escorts once or twice but had gotten away with it.

The order comes (after other U-boats had been ordered onto the convoy too) to attack the convoy, so I spend an afternoon of game-time positioning myself ahead of the convoy and as dusk falls, I dive the boat. As the phalanx of ships starts to pass overhead, I come up to periscope depth, raise the attack periscope, and smack bang in the middle of the convoy about 1,500m ahead I see a Revenge class Battleship in the perfect position for a full spread of 4 torpedoes. The first three missed or were duds (lots of duds early on in the war) but the 4th must have gone off near a main magazine (damage modelling in the Grey Wolves mod is far superior to the vanilla modelling in any SH game imho) and the damn thing just blew up about 10 seconds after the initial impact.

Cue half a dozen or so thoroughly pissed off escorting destroyers charging into the convoy, every searchlight that could be brought to bear sweeping the water looking for foam, periscopes or torpedo wakes and a swift dive as deep as I dared to creep away and think about the long trip home (one torpedo apiece in the fore and aft torpedo rooms is really a purely defensive load) while they thunder around in circles. They never did find me, but my hydrophone operator reported more explosions and breakup noises - whether they were from torpedo attacks by other U-boats, or from collisions (they happen!), I never did find out...

Bloody epic game if you have the patience for it ^_^

Every moment of my gaming career.
Every Boss ever beaten, every enemy ever slain.
I don't believe in luck, but if I did, then in relation to games, I have the best.
Or worst, it depends on how you look at it. I mean, sure I may pick the one magic card out of a deck of 52 that makes me fight Death himself, but then it turns out the shiny stone I picked up before is the ultimate blessing of light or something. You know, stuff like that.

Halo 3 I was sniping down in Orbital and in one of the small corridors I shot into the wall the bullet bounced off the wall and shot someone on the other side. MW2 I was on subbase using only my tac knife and ninja pro(i hate commando) I got a 10 kill streak using only the tac knife

The only reason I beat Ruby Weapon in FF 7 is because he kept missing me with his counters.

Every single game I played in UT2004 TDM with my clan(s) where I had a positive net/kill death ratio.

My motto was "When my teamplay is bad, I have a good net. When my teamplay is good, I get a negative net :D"

Only when I was a selfish bastard (by my standards) I would actually play to my potential instead of holdback and provide for teammates.

When I glitch killed the final boss of Castlevania. I go in to hit him and what should have taken off one of his hit points suddenly took his health bar down to zero. And he was at full health.

I don't know if this is "luck", but in Metal Gear Solid 3: Substance online, I shot a guy rolling off a building with a headshot and there was a ring of blood rolling off the building.

In TF2, I was playing as Spy and was being chased by a Pyro+Medic combo. I was somehow able to backstab the Pyro and Medic without taking any damage.

On the Final Fantasy IV DS remake, the very first time I started a file, in the very first random battle (three goblins) I got the Goblin summon item (0.4% drop rate).
