I recently encountered ignorance to the extreme at my local Gamestop. I asked for a wired Xbox controller and was told that all that existed were the old white ones and third party brands. This is not true. I've held a black xbox controller that was wired before. They assured me it was a controller with a play and charge kit and that I didn't know what I was talking about.

Here is what I was talking about. I see it at Best Buy all the time. So I returned to the gamestop with my smart phone to show them the page online. When I arrived the employee I talked to straight up ignored me and got his manager who told me to quit harassing them and to assure me 100% that a wired black xbox controller did not exist and was not sold in retail and online. He would not look at the page i had loaded on my phone.
Okay...so i went a little overboard with that one. But you know what, I feel like they should have known it was real and i thought it was very misleading for them to tell people that a product that is very real did not exist.
Share your stories of Gamestop ignorance/and/or ridiculous claims they've made. I hope you enjoyed my story. I felt like it was worth it making that trip across town to prove a small fat balding man wrong. I regret nothing.
