As a religious person I facepalmed.
As a person who also likes to think about things in more than one thing I double facepalmed.
I do see why atheists have a problem with many of us christians... This just cements it.
One question: What point is there in worshiping God?5t3v0 said:except I'm a Mormon so while I believe in the bible... Yes, I understand Religion doesn't make sense, and cannot be totally proven, but otherwise it's not faith.
Also, who knows whether many of the stories in the bible weren't parables? What matters is the message behind them, which got lost along the way with the translations of translations of other translations that make up our modern Bibles. The Seven "Days" that the earth was created could have been anything from one Earth Day and one billion years. The "Great flood" probably wasn't global, or it was probably a parable.
Also, unlike most Christians, I (Personally) haven't ruled out evolution. Sure, I believe we were created in Gods image, but things don't always happen instantly, even to god.
However, if I stop believing (which I hope not) I always have science to fall back on.

P.S Evolution is proven fact. If you rule out evolution you are a moron.
