It was only funny in the beginning because unless I'm remembering incorrectly, the first card in that montage is actually named Angelic Destiny,but after that, the amusement falters considerably.
And I just checked the database and it's actually the second card, sop only up to that point.

Tap to do nothing would be pretty hilarious... I'm not going to lie... but I was out of the game from like portal to recently, and even back then, I didn't know all the cards because I was young.
Guess I should've gotten into MtG before looking at this, because that joke just sailed over my head.
Yeah, no idea what that was about. Still, less unfunny that the "this loser is you" bloke that forms the basis of modern comedy, so that's a plus.
When you play the spell Angelic Destiny, it buffs a creature fairly significantly. When that creature is killed, the spell goes back into your hand instead of the graveyard. The first death was "Doomblade" which just strait up kills a a creature regardless of its stats (for the most part). So Angelic Destiny goes on a second creature, and it gets killed by "Go for the Throat" then the angel in charge (Angelic overseer's picture, card doesn't really matter, just needed something that looked like it was an angel in charge) tries to recruit the Wurmcoil Engine, because when it dies, it just breaks up into two smaller creatures.Asuka Soryu said:
