Audition after audition came, a woman with teeth a plenty able to shred things down from toe to head, she was quickly dismissed after chocking on a splinter.
Another was a robed man who summoned swords all around him, slicing and dicing in a storm of edges, and left after getting a solid staff to the crotch.
Beast men, and those with wings, and any number of them Came and went. Eventually narrowing it down it came out to 3 others.
A Wolf Man(?) so shaggy and fur covered with only short muffles of barking to show disapproval or agreement. Whether they were pure or surgically altered was left to best guess. He(?) passed after whispering in to Gales ear after a few sniffs and twitches of his(?) ears.
Gale called him(?) Wensah, and motioned hom to the bar, quickly taking a seat next to Krieger and giving a wuffle of greeting. Naked in every respect it was hard to see what he looked like under, asides from the rough shape of hunched wolf of old, brown and grey in respect to hair, and with ears and nose sticking out.
Another was a young woman, an Air Kin by the looks, with bladed wings and feathers sharp. She looked metallic in appearance and armored, she was sharp and hard to tell what she truly looked like below. Looking to Astor, he got the distinct feeling that she was winking at him judging by the glint of light in her eyes (holes). Folding the wings on her back they seemed to fold and fit snugly, sitting on a table, she was given wide space after her talon gouged out a chunk of wood and nearly another persons toe.
Her voice was like a cheese grater as she asked for a drink, and declared herself as Karnath
Last was a Human, plain and simple. Bald and like a monk, she fought toe to toe with Gale using a metal pole, the vibrations of each strike showing in both of their bodies. As the bout continued, the Woman blurred and moved faster in place. Sending a vibration with a stomp and smack of her stave, it ended in a tie, as Gale was blown back in well, a gale. The woman would have won but was dragged along as well in her strike, with a clever hook from Gales stave.
Most of the crowd left and a few of the fighters argued that they deserved a bout again.
(more to come one moment)
