O.k, I'm not saying I dont care about the whole Madaline McCann going missing thing, but they're STILL writing stories about it in the papers.
Loads of girls go missing every day, but the papers only publish stories about Madeline. If it was an extraordinary story, I would except it being in the papers, but its not, it's the same story as every other missing girl. Nobody cares as much about the other girls, and i think this is unfair on them.
What are your views on the subject? Not just on what I've said, but other reasons the papers are being unfair/wrong.

Little blonde haired, blue eyed British girl goes missing while on holiday in Portugal about 4 years ago or something. We all (well, almost) cared for a bit until it became obvious her parents killed her or something. Some people still care apparently though.

If her parents hadn't been doctors and surgeons, and instead, been poor people from some council estate in Liverpool (just an example), they'd have been prosecuted for neglect.

Her parents are attention whores, simple as. It's a tragedy that their little girl is in all likelihood dead, but they aren't half milking it for all it's worth. They'll get a nice fat cheque from each newspaper, magazine and news station they sell developments on the story to, and get money through donations too, which they claim goes to help finding her, but I would put money on them also taking a cut. They even got to meet the pope for crying out loud! They should just let it drop, if for nothing else, just so I don't have to keep reading crap about it on the news.
