Of course the Historical American mafia is nothing but violent Italians, thats what they were! They weren't exactly an "Equal Opportunity employer" and had black, homosexual, and women gangsters at the time.

Besides, have they BEEN to new jersy? its an insufferable den of guidos who pretend they're gangsters and that they might "know somebody". They need to protest these assholes:

"I have no doubt our efforts resulted in the Mafia II Launch Party... being a dismal failure," DiMino said. "When we first heard about this marketing event only recently, we went into action, using our resolve to challenge an event whose purpose was to mock the Italian American community by promoting the new video game Mafia II."

"I believe the combined result of our activities was that, without acknowledging our efforts, both Take-Two and the 92nd Street Y became very hesitant to heavily promote ethnic bashing in this very public way," he continued. "The lack of media coverage for the launch party is another indicator that they pulled back on promoting this event."
This man is literally delirious. He appears to think he's in a world where his opinion and actions have impact on things. They do not.

And these people have the free time to be the real life analogue of forum trolls? And this is the best way to spend it?

I almost wonder if this whole thing is a marketing ploy by Take-Two. There have been stranger ones.

Italian-Americans doing what they do best: Think their better than everyone else and muscle out anyone who disagrees.

Really should not make fun though since the La Cosa Nostra is still around.

Mafia 2 is a pretty decent game. If you enjoy the mobster movie genre then it's worth it's weight in gold, despite the occasional bugs that occur. I've played through the whole game, so I can say that yes the game does make several racist comments about the chinese and africans. I really don't see where they claim the game is racist toward Italians, other then the fact it focuses on the italian mob, which everyone knows that there did exist such a thing, just like the russian mafia exist. Etc etc...

Plus the game includes naked playboy pictures from that time period :p So it can't be all that bad, can it? xD

That could be a quote from the game itself.

EDIT: Wait, does that poster say "America- a beautiful Italian name"? It's from the feminine Latin version of mapmaker Amerigo Vespucci's first name. And as far as that goes, it's only thought to be a variation of it. I'd call it a Roman name before I'd call it an Italian name.
Actually that's a common misconception, it was named after a Welshman who sponsored the first voyage to discover the Americas, cant remember his name exactly but it was fairly similar to the word 'America'.
Richard Americ? (pronounced aim-rick)

So, in reference to the claims that the Italian-Americans were a group of criminally styled mobsters...

...you disrupted a perfectly legal party with a mob of Italian-Americans.

Mind the oranges, Marlon. And the hypocrisy.
That comment is win and I don't really have much to add...

Well, except for this... The mobster mentality in viewing Italian-Americans is much, much better than the one you bastards are creating with your actions right now.

You're not victorious, you're insignificant, pathetically reveling in your 15 minutes of pseudo-fame. I would call your attempts "Jack Thompson-ish", only you don't even reach that far and that, my friends, is sad.
