"I'm finished" you say, as you finish your ground braking video game freak out moment (look at my old posts)
Suddenly, your boss flies in crying "I just saw E.T., and I want you to make a incredably sad moment in a game, to make someone cry." He then explodes into a rainbow of happieness and runs away.
You need to make the player cry.
How?
I would team up with Valve to make a new half-life game for them. You will be in a train, only this time playing as Alyx, and the train crashes on the bridge, Gordon hangs on the edge of the bridge. The rest of the team is on the other side of the bridge, fighting off evil, and the part of the bridge counecting you and them brakes. You look at Gordon, and grab his hand, you can't pull him up. Flash backs of the game burst up, only this time they apear through Alyx's eyes. The flash back goes to Gordon, which show his childhood. You zoom in on Gordon's face, and a sighn pops up on screen saying let go. He falls to his death with a tear as you let go.
Any fan boy would cry.
