Now I'm a dude and I don't swing that way but from what I've been told, woman don't care about looks, only personality and brains and whatnot (this explains why movies like 50 Shades of Gray and Magic Mike always tank at the box office).

I can tell you right now based on MASSIVE amount of research done on this by various reputable institutions, whoever told you that women don't care about looks is lying through their teeth.
