In the time it took us to say those four sentences, Clade and I have managed to climb up a few hundred floors of the subbasements, aided by a convenient escalator.

The last of the water is finally sucked out of the airlock, and Knife closes it again.
"Well that was fun." He says, walking over to Ran and Trilby.

The doors of the subbasement fly open as fire pours out of it, moments later I come out all burnt up and chard closing the door behind me and leaned against it. I breath hard and hold out my thumb, "Im good".
