The pain from the wound is starting to fade now. It's just a faint tingling on the edge of my senses.
"Hey Salt..can you do something for me...?"
More blood flows from the corner of my mouth. Darkness gathers at the edges of my eyes.

 

[Saltarius]

"Uh..Sig? You...you okay? Let's get you to the police station."

 

[Sigma Castell]

I laugh. My shirt is soaked in blood.
"I think...I think this is the end for me, Salt.."
Theres a distant ringing in my ears. Like a bell, somewhere far away.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

I look at the cops, who aren't responding.
"Exactly. Now let me go."

 

[Saltarius]

"Sig. Sigma Castell, don't you dare fucking die on me. I am not losing anymore people. Not after Aradia. Sig! Sigma! Damn it, wake up! W...[small]wake up...[/small]"

 

[Sigma Castell]

"We..we had some good times, right? heheh..even if I had no clue what was going on most of the time..."
My chest feels numb, and my vision begins to blur. I reach a hand into my pocket, and take out a crumpled peice of paper.
"hey...If you guys ever get back to..wherever we're from..can you give this to the guy at Currys? tell him.Tell him I wont be able to make the last deposit on the blender.."
I press the blood-stained note into Salts hand.
"See you around, guys..."
I cough again. Everythings cold now.
"I never did get to finish that comic..."

I stop zoning and realize trilby collapsed inside the police station... "Shit"

I run up to the armoury put on riot gear and grab an automatic shotgun. "Are you okay?"

 

[Saltarius]

"No. Sigma. S-Sig..."

I lay Sigma's body on the ground.

"Trilby. You listen to me. You will never, ever be released from whatever hhellhole prison I stick you in. Hear that?"

 

[Sigma Castell]

I let out one, last breath.
"You guys were the best thing that ever happened to me..."
Then, quietly, my vision fades to white, and my heart finally stops.

A man lies in a crater. A ruined man, with nothing to lose, and little to gain. The ender of lives, The Undead Maniac... lives to see yet another day. He try's to pull himself up, but realizes his hand is stuck down. He pulls the sword out, and gets up, slowly, and painfully. He looks around. Fire, destruction, and death. A destroyed city. He doesn't recall the emptiness in the citizens eyes. He does remember one thing, before he was knocked unconscious. The shield, seemingly made of shadows, protected him. He climbs out the crater and holsters the new sword. He renames it, Eagle. He begins walking through the wasteland, searching for an old friend. He pulls the Ace of Hearts out his pocket, and flicks it into the fire. His search, begins.

"Salt shot me, whoever you are." I say, winking at Ryan.
I glare at Salt, still in my SWAT helmet. "I don't know who the fuck Trilby is, but that sounds like a blatant abuse of power. You clearly have me mistaken with someone else. And this 'Trilby' doesn't have a criminal record from what I've seen. I don't think he has even been accused of anything."

 

[Saltarius]

"It ends."

I carry Sigma's body to the local police station and lay it on the desk. I eye Tril.

"I want this man put on trial for acts of terrorism on the Mall. There are countless witnesses. I expect an investigation started by tomorrow."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Saaaaaaaaaaalllllltttttt...Guess who's awake? The carnival is back in town!" My voice rings from the police stations PA.
"Let's throw a party....I'll take care of the fireworks." The explosion fires everyone backwards, towards the exit.

I look around "Sir before I can arrest him I must know, who is this man?" I look at trilby

I look at Salt and reach for my own cuffs.
"Saltarius Crane, you are under arrest for corruption, murder, attempted murder and attempted murder of a police officer."
I cuff Salt and begin reading him his Miranda rights.

"Your both under arrest then?"

 

[Saltarius]

"Sorry Tril, but you're not an official officer. In fact, isn't impersonating an officer an offense itself? Plus, you're going to need actual proof aside from your own testimony. Ryan, this man has commited atrocities against the mall, commiting terrorist acts and nearly killing a woman. I merely incapacitated him to protect her."

Then the blast happens.

"Shit!"

"Well, considering I'm a witness to his crimes and he has no evidence, no. I am not under arrest. Also, he is accusing Trilby, not me. And thank you for reminding me. Salt, you just got a free wasting police time charge. Now can someone get me to a hospital while he gets booked?"
I get caught up in the explosion, and curl up before I hit the desk, my combat armour protecting me for the most part. I grab my weapons and look around.
"Someone get Salt into a cell before he gets blown up!"

I get knocked on my back, I aim the shotgun at Salt,

"This is a he said, she said situation? He's wearing a uniform. Your both under arrest until we discern the truth."

I look at trilby "I'm trusting you to place him in a cell, and cuff yourself, do it or I will fire on the offender"

 

[Saltarius]

"Okay one, you don't even know who he is, two, he is his only witness, and three, SOMEBODY JUST TRIED TO DESTROY THE POLICE STATION! Priorities gentlemen!"
