I stand in silence for a minute before placing a hand on Xot's shoulder and nodding.

"Don't gang up on Dave. Just tell him that if he's really a man, he'll face me in a duel."

 

[RaNDM G]

"Alright... Alright."

 

[Saltarius]

"Now we wait, it seems."

 

[Knife-28]

Knife pulls Xot aside and in a low voice asks, "Look man, just tell me. Is it actually her?"

 

[RaNDM G]

"... [small]Yeah man, it's her.[/small]"

 

[Saltarius]

"Hey Xot, you mind checking this draft chapter of my book? I think...what's going on?"

 

[RaNDM G]

"Nothing. What's that you got?"

 

[Saltarius]

"It's a draft chapter for my book. I did say I needed something to do with my time. I was wondering if you could do a peer review on it or something. I was kinda going for a Twin Peaks-meets X-Files mystery story."

 

[RaNDM G]

"Well... Let me see what you wrote."

 

[Saltarius]

I hand Xot the laptop.

"Be my guest."

 

[RaNDM G]

"... Salt?"

 

[Saltarius]

"Yes?"

 

[RaNDM G]

"Where are the words?"

 

[Saltarius]

"What are you talking about? It clearly sta-oh...here, just take this print copy."

 

[RaNDM G]

"... This is a blank piece of paper with the title on it."

 

[Saltarius]

"Oh for the love of-OK, you're the smart one, clearly...wait, I'm supposed to say 'enter' or some shit for the text.

One voice command later and the type is their on the laptop.

"Now then."

 

[RaNDM G]

"Okay, so..."

The chapter is quite long.

"Can I get a plot summary or something?"

 

[Saltarius]

"We've got nothing but time until Sis and Dave get back. So I suggest you read. Besides, that'd ruin the point of a review."

 

[RaNDM G]

"... I honestly don't know what to think of this. Knife, here."

 

[Saltarius]

"He already did. Said he liked it."
