You should know better than to turn your back.

The snake whips its head, crushing the team in one strike. It slinks back into its hole.

The team respawns.

I stand on the cube.

You can see a house from here.

"Oh cool." I walk towards the house.

 

[RaNDM G]

Your three mile walk is mostly uneventful, save for the occasional run in with a pack of cannibal swamp rabbits.

You reach the house. It's smaller than you thought it would be. You wonder how it even stays upright.

 

[MinimanZombie]

I open the door carefully.

 

[RaNDM G]

You barely set foot on the lawn before a huge gator kicks down the front door. He points his double-barrel rifle in your direction.

"Aw, yes! It's been too long since I had a decent dinner!"

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Well fuck." I leap behind a nearby tree before it fires at me.
"Excuse me, can we talk about this?"

 

[RaNDM G]

He fires, the weapon thundering like a cannon. You hear the shot tear through flesh and bone.

You look behind you. A giant snake, no less than two stories tall from the ground is bleeding
from a huge hole in its belly. Another round and the snake falls limp to the ground.

"Mmm, mmm, mmm, this gon' be deeeeelicious."

The gator walks up the snake and drags it back to the house.

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Holy shit. Uh...No offense, but you're not gonna shoot me, right?"

 

[RaNDM G]

"I'm gonna skin ya, then I'm gonna soak ya, then I'm gonna slather ya in season, then I'm gonna batter ya..."

Doesn't look like he even notices you.

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Well...I'm coming out, okay?" I walk out from the tree, arms raised.
"Hi, me and my friend are lost, and stuff. Wait. Oh shit, I forgot Salt!"
...
"Eh, I'm sure he'll be fine."

 

[Saltarius]

"...Zomb? Are you there? I think I hear something in the grass..."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"SALT! CAN YOU HEAR ME!"

 

[Saltarius]

"SOMETHING BIT MY LEG AND IT WASN'T A MOSQUITO!"

Indeed it wasn't.

It appears you have been acquainted with the aforementioned pack of cannibal swamp rabbits.

Good thing their mouths are so tiny.

I kick away a few of the rabbits and swing my broken claymore blindly to ward them off.

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Anyway, Gator guy. My names Zombie. Can you direct me to a town or outpost? Or tell me your name?"

 

[RaNDM G]

"Woah, woah, wha's this right here?"

The gator bends down to take a look at you. He easily dwarfs your size.

"Well well if isn't a little human. What are you doin' out here son?"

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Uh, well. A space ship thing brought me and some friends here. Me and another got lost. We're here for someones quest. Do you know anything about that, tall gator man?"

 

[Saltarius]

I run past the house, the rabbits swarming me.

"JESUS CHRIST SOMEBODY FUCKING SHOOT THESE THINGS! MY FLESH!"
