"What do you want?"

"Alright, I need you to lay low. So, how about I kill you, and you respawn in the ship. Then, at a certain time, you can come back out."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"I think cleaning blood up in a holding cell until these guys decided to give me the chief's personnel file counts as lying low. Waiting in a ship that isn't even ours does not."
I start to walk away.

 

[MinimanZombie]

"I need to kill you though. That's the key point."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

I keep walking.
"Paddy already did that. Hence the disguise I've been wearing since Joe's."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Except they know who you are. All I need to do, is cut your head off, and take it back. Then you can respawn, get a new disguise, and everything will be fixed."

"If they're getting you to kill me, then obviously they see me as a threat of some kind. Which was my plan. And killing me does nothing because I can just respawn and start again."
I turn and raise an eyebrow.
"How do you even know they want me, personally, dead?"

"I thought I said that I just had a meeting with them. The point is, they don't see you as a threat. They see you as a nuisance. Just let me fucking kill you, and you can respawn, and get a disguise."

I stare at Zombie.
"You had a fucking meeting with them and DIDN'T ARREST THEM? God! I'M WORKING WITH A BUNCH OF IDIOTS! First, you guys spook them by arresting Rojas. Then, you blow Paddy's cover by putting a tracer in his drugs instead of tracking his phone. Now, you're in contact with them and do NOTHING?"
I punch a wall and walk back to the cells.
"IDIOTS!"

"...Calm it mate. Firstly, I haven't told you the rest of my plan. I didn't arrest them, because I could only see one of them. Plus, I had no involvement with the rest of that shit."

"Yeah, you only saw one because I'm pretty damn sure the third one is the chief. As in, the guy who just bolted when he saw me."

You walk past him. As soon as you forget about him, he tackles you from behind. You hit your head on the concrete, cutting a gash on your forehead. You turn over and face up at your attacker. He punches at your face, but misses and hits the concrete, breaking his hand. You slip away.
