"What? Zombie told me Los Muertos Trío were here! I came to help arrest them. They attacked us. Salt's a cop!"

"Don't you get it? They were undercover!"
The cops begin to close in slightly.
"Holy shit..."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"Let me ask you, officers. You're accusing us of hunting down cops and killing them in cold blood."
I stand up.
"Do you really think threatening us is a good idea!?"
I raise my gravity gauntlet and clench my fist, focusing on the police car.

 

[MinimanZombie]

One of the officers shoot you in the shoulder, knocking you back, and ruining attempt at dabbling with gravity. They close in completely, and arrest us all.

"God fucking damn it. They took our freaking weapons away! We demand a trial!"
"Shut up back there!"

"Officer, I would like to be put in a solitary cell. If you do not comply, Mike will be very annoyed at you."

"EXCUSE ME, I AM AN OFFICER AND I DEMAND TO SEE OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION THAT THEY WERE UNDERCOVER COPS!"

"Oh sure Mister. Would you like it to be made of gold? How about we give you some cake as well? In fact, how about we give you a damn penthouse, with a Jacuzzi and a high def TV. You don't get to choose. And you? You were discharged a while ago."

You respawn in the cell. Did you honestly forget about that part?

I walk back from the coffee shop down the road from Riech's just in time to see everyone get arrested. "Oh for fucks sake." I mutter, taking out my phone and calling Knife.

"I know exactly who to call, guys. The only one who can save us now... Knife. Unless he's got himself locked in a box or something."

 

[MinimanZombie]

"Okay. Sounds cool to me."
The police officer hands you the phone.
"You get 5 minutes."

I call Knife.

[sub]"Shit, you sure? I thought you said...No but...Yes boss. Yeah I understand.[/sub] Okay folks, you're free to go. All a big misunderstanding."
He lets us out of our cell.

I walk out of the cell, still waiting for Knife to pick up.
"Can you get me my gear, please?"

"You'll get it on the way out."
We get our stuff as we reach the front door.
"Well...what now?"

I put my gauntlet back on one hand, reload my revolver and put my shoulder holster on.
"Now... I guess we go get the ship. Leave Invictus."

"I'm not sure what it could have been revoked for, given I had full authority to do whatever it took to bring Muertos behind bars."
