I don't know why, but I feel like the action would have somehow been more rational if it was one of those big green golf carts than an actual reptile. That being said, people are overestimating how wide a 3.5 foot alligator is. I'd put money on one that small being roughly football sized and shaped at its widest.

Before I clicked on it I said "This happened in Florida didn't it."

Reality didn't prove me wrong.

And lo and behold, it was Florida. Freaking, Florida lol.
It seems I wasn't alone on this.

Your avatar and that reaction = Priceless.

OT: Look, I know fast food is awful, but this is not the way to send criticism!

What is a "Jupiter man?" I am going to assume it is not a man from a certain gas giant. Maybe everyone in florida is suffering a mild, slow form of heat stroke that manifests in mysterious ways. Maybe they have mercury in their food chain diet or LSD not completely filtered from their drinking water. Either way, seems a great opportunity for psychological/sociological study.
I can imagine the alligator feeling quite confused and insulted by this. Especially if it links the human eatery to meat manufacturing. They might take it a little personally.
Jupiter is a city in Florida.

OT: I'm probably looking at the wrong thing, but I'm personally hung up on the laws for "transportation of an alligator". Is that really enough of an issue that you can get cited for it? How often that does actually have to happen?!

I saw the headline and immediately thought "Florida Man".

I was not wrong.

Artist's depiction of Florida Man.

Ohhhhh my goooood, you are shitting me. I was just about to jokingly ask if this was the doing of the mysterious superhero figure known only as Florida Man. WHAT DO THEY PUT IN THEIR BREAKFAST CEREAL OVER THERE???
It's all the rocketry runoff around Cape Canaveral getting into the water supply.

These damn Gators, why do they harass wome- oh, right, okay.

Though to be fair, Wendy's probably deserves it after this travesty;

You know, this story started out funny and then there was a picture of the alligator in the restaurant and it got terrifying.
Then I read the comments here and it got funny again.

"It was meant to be funny."
Oh yeah, 200-pound carnivorous reptiles being shoved into restaurants are always a hoot.
Okay, it's kinda funny when you put it that way but probably not for the people inside.

Did you guys see the video of his mom defending him, saying he's just a harmless prankster?

"he does 'stuff like this' because he thinks it's funny"...

Stuff like this? This is a trend for him? What else has this man done? Jellyfish in a kiddy pool? Pinata full of bees?
It'd be even funnier if they threw him in prison for sixty years because of it.

On a side note, maybe Wendy's should take this as a sign that they should start serving gator-meat? Gator is actually pretty good.

Going to agree with the people saying "How did I already know it happened in Florida?"

Is Florida Man a really D-list supervillain or something? Drive by alligatoring is a thing?

(I'm remembering that Simpsons "spin off" with Skinner and Chief Wiggum becoming PIs, and the villain sticks a gator in one of their rooms at night)

You know, I'm glad some people still care enough about physical comedy to put other people's lives and limbs at risk

Now I like alligators and reptiles in general, even held a 'gator about as big as the one described. Yet even i call it as I see it: unless you get a bit that feels like you're chewing on rubber bands, alligator is damn tasty.

My only question is... why?

For a prank? I think when one takes the time and the effort to get an alligator into a truck and risk life and limb chucking it through a drive thru window, we've passed the point of harmless prankster to "someone that really should reevaluate one's life"

This is so Florida it hurts.

I told my friends when I saw this in the forums that it was Florida.

I was not disappointed.

James faces charges of aggravated assault and unlawful possession and transportation of an alligator.
There's an explicit law for possessing and transporting alligators? HOW OFTEN DOES THIS HAPPEN?!
If you outlaw alligators only outlaws will throw alligators through windows.
