i don't blame the women for pressing charges, but they have no case against him. i know next to nothing about law and even i can tell that.
How can you not blame her? The man was in his HOME! She was the one peeping through his window.
Arrest her for voyerism!
yes, but she probably knows only slightly less about law then i do, and i only know what the media has told me and what common-sense tells me makes sense and the odd bit that i pick up.plus she'd probably cringe at bare ass because media has taught us that naked=bad.

Please don't make these forums into the Daily Mail. This story really doesn't deserver alot of coverage, it's just unfortunate.

This should not have even made it to trial. The only way she could have seen his tally-whacker was to be on his property illegally. She should have been charged with trespassing and for invasion of privacy.

How this stuck to the poor fellow is beyond me. As someone stated earlier, if it was the other way around, and she was the one nude, and he the one trespassing on her property, you know he'd be nailed to the wall as a pervert and for trespassing.

Huzzah for the double standard I guess.

EDIT: Just watched the second video. The wife of a cop. Now I know how the charges stuck.

OK, let me get this right. A trespasser looking through his window called the police about indecent exposure and he gets arrested, not the trespasser.

I just... don't even.. why would they...?
I believe there needs to be lobbying to create a system that you may only phone police or emergency services if you pass a test.
If the first thing everyone does nowadays is phone the police over trivialities, then let us remove the rights these fools have to do so.
Anybody with me?

Question #1: What kind of school has 7-year olds walking there at 5:30?! That alone is proof that the lady has lied at least once in her story.

Question #2: Isn't there no way the lady and her son could have seen that from that angle all the way on the sidewalk? Or is my vision not what it used to be?

It sure is cold in here....

Note that if it was the other way around, with a man looking into the house of a naked woman, the man would still be in trouble.

Reasons why she would press charges:
1) To get compensation for seeing a man's penis, which shocked her because she probably never saw one before.
2) To get compensation for her son seeing a penis, which made him scarred and now a flaming homosexual.
3) To get even because she was jealous that her husband wasn't as well-endowed.

Ok, I disagree with the fact that he was charged and convicted (being naked in your own home should be a right I would imagine), but that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. People should be allowed to call the police anytime they feel that they are being badly treated.

It's not the woman's fault for calling the police really.. if she thought that he was lewdly displaying himself intentionally for her and her son, I would say that she should call the cops.

However, the police should have the presence of mind to handle it with a basis of common sense. I think a simple "It might be a good idea to close your curtains when you're walking around naked in front of a big window. Other then that, have a good day sir" would have sufficed, but the woman definitely was in her rights to call the police.

Seems to me that she saw him passing by the window (probably a half second glimpse) and there was no way her and her son BOTH saw it unless she said "hey look son a weenie!" or if they were looking to see if anyone was in there.

I'm going to be standing outside windows of girl's bedroom windows and sue them for indecent exposure now!

Not his damn fault they saw.
If anything, at least fine the woman for trespassing.
This and it is extremely OLD news.

The way I see it is that everyone has become whiny little bastards lately, and should just let things slide. This is yet another story of some imbecilic lady calling the police over a very minor event.
A good example of my reasoning for not allowing everyone access to dialing emergency services is the woman who called the police because her cat wouldn't stop playing with string.

This is the sad truth I am afraid.

OT: There is nothing wrong with being naked in ones own home hell I know I would probably do it if I lived on my own.
