Wow, that was stupid, the guy shouldn't go to jail, if anything the woman sounds paranoid from her "supposed" description of what she did before she called the police...

What a laugh, so he was spied upon by a tresspassing woman, looking through his window, who called police?

Don't be naked near any area with an opening to the outside world, it could be illegal. Whatever you do, do not have a line of sight to the great beyond. If he had a closed off panic room, he might just be safe enough to get naked.

BLASPHEMY!

It's a horrible horrible day when I can't feel safe enjoying a cup of coffee while getting amazing airflow throughout all my regions.

if he was visible then yea he can be arrested
technically, it's only indecent exposure if you intend to show your naked body to someone.

the reason he was convicted was that he apparently was naked by his window for a long time. If it were just the one woman making the complaint, it wouldn't work out for her in court. But several people saw his naked body through his window over the course of several hours, which constitutes lewd behavior.

The guy was probably just trying to make a point "I can be naked in my house and there's nothin' you can do about it nyanananyaana!!" but if you stand by your window for several naked hours, then yeah, there is stuff we can do to stop that :p

what everyone's missing here, is that he was actually convicted. That means that they found evidence enough to prove to a judge without a reasonable doubt that this was a crime.

So clearly we're not getting the whole picture.

You know what would be really sad? If he was still wearing underwear or boxers when he was seen. That would just be perfect.

OK, let me get this right. A trespasser looking through his window called the police about indecent exposure and he gets arrested, not the trespasser.

Why was the mother walking her kid so late at night. He said he got up at 5:30. What time does her kids school start? Is it far away? Doesnt she have a car?

That actually sounds like a comfortable idea. Though I think If I did it I'd shut my blinds or something. Though yes I do think the police are overreacting a bit here.

And I know this is going to sound off-topic but was it just me who kept expecting that man at some point to say something along the lines of "Billy Mays here with another fantastic product".
