Counter-sue. Say they were peeping tom trespassers. I hear both of those are illegal too.

Briefly seeing a man naked (in a non-sexual way, mind you) Vs. Spending a year in jail. He will come out more traumatized from this than any child would be from seeing him naked, I'm sure. At least, I know I would be if were in his shoes. If he has to spend even one day in jail, then that legal system is a joke.

Disregarding that he was in his own home, and that the dumb wench and her spawn were trespassing, he could have at least got off with a warning for a first time offense. (That is not a pun by the way, you sick bastards.)

Be honest, who here isn't naked in his/her house right now.
Come on, please tell me I'm not the only one.

OT: Its his home, he can do what he wants.

Perhaps you shouldn't be cutting through people's yards with a 7 year old at 5:30 in the fucking morning.

I'm quite sure this is from ages ago.
Even so, it's stupid. The woman was in his garden in the morning, and pearing in his windows. Just stupid.

Wow... just wow...
Granted, being in the buff in view of the yard may not be the best plan, but still--what right does that woman have to declare that he can't do what he wants in his own home? From now on, I'll live in fear of even taking a shower, just in case she happens to wander by and peep into my windows...

Just close your blinds in the morning, I don't think its criminal, but yeah, if you see someone, close blinds and stuff. Its not really a complex decency.

If the man was visible from a main street, I could perhaps understand. But if they had to be in HIS yard to view his noddle (I know of very few house designs that put the kitchen facing the front of the house) than it's not his fault.

Require a diagram of the scene please.
Yeah I agree. It is ridiculous, it's just as crazy as a person breaking into someones house and the home owner injuring them then they sue the home owner for assault or whatever. A lot of people are fucking idiots.

I seem to remember reading this same news article sometime last year.

OT: I'm still amazed that ANYONE is trying to convict him over some shit like this. Shouldn't this have been thrown out already?

Wow thats fucked up.
Yeah is it just me or is America slowly becoming a really shitty place to be?

You should be a lawyer, those would be pretty good questions to bring forward during court.
SLOWLY BECOMING? Man, we're already a piece of shit. We've been shit for years, since the 90's. That's when those "How to be a better parent" books came out, and mothers started to become way, WAY too overprotective with their children. Then they started to voice their opinion a bit too much, and a bit too loudly, and where has it gotten us? These are the same people who tell us that video games are turning our children into the spawn of satan.

The man is totally in the right. Fuck suing the woman and her child, that won't solve anything. He needs to sue the state on the charge of police malpractice (if that exists?).

1. This story is really old.
2. This is absolutely hilarious and sums up how stupid it is in a much better way than I could

A woman and a 7-year-old boy were cutting through Williamson's front yard from a nearby path, according to WTTG-TV, Channel 5 in Washington.
Okay. Questions I had:
-What was that woman doing with that kid at 0530 on a school day?
-It says "a" seven-year old. Is that even her kid?
-If this man wanted to be seen, why was he up so early and still inside his own house?
So much for "land of the free"
Prosecute them for trespassing and invasion of privacy. What an absurd police department. I'd hate to see how they investigate homicides - probably arrest the corpse for stealing the shooters bullet. TARDS.

I gotta say that a charge of lewd behavior against the woman makes a lot more sense. Also...whatever you charge someone for forcing a child to peep on a neighbor. If anything, it's a good way of saying, "You wanna play this game? Cause I can too" and get everything dropped.
