Always amazes me how people think just because they are behind a computer screen they can get away with something they would never dare to do in real life.
You can't harass and distress people, you can't view images of minors having sex, you can't take money or property that doesn't belong to you. Oh, but your doing it on the internet? Guess what? Still a crime. Prepare to serve the time.
Stick your free speech argument up your arse as well. I'll just go and tell the police you tried to kill me last Thursday. Free speech right? I'm only using words, expressing myself, right? Words, like actions, have consequences. Deal with it.
Sometimes the consequences are that a 12 year old commits suicide over the 'free speech' directed at her by these weirdos, sometimes the consequences are that the 'troll' goes to prison. Personally, I prefer the latter consequence. I know in Duffy's case the people he was targeting were dead anyway, but it still affected the family of the deceased.
p.s. In before consequences will never be the same.
