A 19 year old man breaks into a random woman's house and attacks her, attempting to "suck her blood." Wow, just wow. This guy has some problems and probably watched too much Twilight.

I read about this story on this site earlier, but your headline made it sound like the intro to a cheesy joke!

Or read Bram Stokers Dracula too much. Vampire stuff should be banned people can't control themselves.

Ha, nice try.

Everyone knows vampires can't enter a home without permission.

Seriously though, I hope they don't start blaming this stuff on vampire books and media like the article makes out. I don't like Twilight, but that doesn't allow me to blame people's issues on it, just like how people who don't like video-games shouldn't use that as a scape-goat either.

Haha, I forgot about that bit where vampires need permission to enter. I guess that nut who thinks he's a vampire forgot too.

Frankly, I wouldn't want the whole vampire genre to be blamed either, even though I am no fan of vampires. The offense was committed by someone with psychological problems not by a genre.

NINJA'D!

Though once given permission, they can enter at will.

Bah, I had some hope that no one would have mentioned it when I saw there were only 6 replies, but oh well. Needless to say I wouldn't have bought it for a second.

*sigh* what Twilight has done to regular vampires can never be excused.

too late. this story was on the escapist earlier and the person treating the "mental vampire" blamed twighlight saying that it "inspires mentally challenged people" or something...

Damn, I really hoped we might rise above the whole thing.

But no, us gamers are damn hypocrites, as always. When the government finally gets around to passing laws against us, I'll hardly be able to blame them.

The cycle of blame will never, ever end.

Good attempt, though anyone who has actually read Dracula knows that vampires can't enter any building without permission from a person who lives there.

honestly the way people are blaming vampire pop culture for this just make me think of people blaming "the rock music or violent video games" if I may quote my friends mother, this guy just sounds like he has a few screws loose. :/

What a poor excuse for a vampire. Breaking in? Doesn't he know that vampires can't cross a threshold and enter the home without being invited?

Vampires these days, tsk tsk.
