I saw this on the news this morning and about spit out my coffee. While I try to understand other cultures this is just rediculous...http://www.buffalonews.com/494/story/578644.html
Well this isn't going to help, is it?Muzzammil Hassan is the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, which he launched in 2004, amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.
Oh dear. I feel bad but I did laugh at that.Break said:Well this isn't going to help, is it?Muzzammil Hassan is the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, which he launched in 2004, amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.
Well...it said that he personally went to the station and said she was dead, I'm assuming that also means he made a confession relating to such. Could be wrong though.stormcaller said:Yeah, that is strange.
Stranger though I saw no evidence or information, just "Yeah he did it" which of course makes me curious.
I guess, but the media is usually frothing at the mouth with that sort of stuff yet here it is left blank.GothmogII said:Well...it said that he personally went to the station and said she was dead, I'm assuming that also means he made a confession relating to such. Actually, if you read the article carefully, it only says he was charged. The only person who actually said that he did it was the DA, Frank A. Sedita III, when he talked about the "worst form of domestic violence", and it seems like he was just assuming the guy was guilty. Being a lawyer, he should know better. They always preface charges with words like "allegedly" and so on. The newspaper that published the peice was careful not to make the same mistake, although I'll admit they could easily have quoted him out of context.stormcaller said:I guess, but the media is usually frothing at the mouth with that sort of stuff yet here it is left blank.GothmogII said:Well...it said that he personally went to the station and said she was dead, I'm assuming that also means he made a confession relating to such.
