Just heard it on the news. Its incredible, even if he landed in snow.
Just thought I'd see what you guys think.
Could you post a link to a news source or something like that?

People have survived falling out of planes without parachutes before, it's all how you land it and what you land on.

I've heard of this before. I think I heard something about a person jumping out of a plane and their parachutes didn't work. They went unconscious and their muscles made them bounce.

I guess it makes sense. I mean, if you tense your muscles and someone hits you, it hurts more.

Why try to climb up the eastern slope? There's a walking path on the western side. Much easier...

But seriously, I've seen the eastern side of Ben Nevis and I do not want to drop off there. How he survived with so little injury, a (minor) miracle.

Another source based on the incident itself here.
...And you.

Well then, this is quite amazing. He's very lucky to have survived that fall. If I were in that position, I wouldn't be able to stop laughing at such a stroke of luck.

According to physics the fall alone would be enough to kill, let alone the impact.

Not to make this one of those kinda threads, but this is why I believe in a god.

But seriously, thats incredible, but it seems like you see these stories every week, so its like they're becoming dimes a dozens. Still kudos to this man, that was incredible. He gets the badd ass of the week award, because he he was standing and reading the map after falling.
