On March 14, 2015, at 9:26:53, it is a very special time. Why? Because at that exact time, it's 3/14/15, 9:26:53. That's right, it's pi.

Is this worthy of epic parties?

Have a party for pi? I'll have a party with pie anytime.

No this isn't that special, anyway for me it would be 14/3/15 so it wouldn't work over here.

Not in Europe it isn't, in fact we'll never hit that point.

March 14, 2015 is a Saturday. I'll probably be too busy sleeping in to notice Pi time, and at 9:26 at night I'm likely to be having sex, since it'll be a Saturday night and all (and even if I have kids between now and then, their bedtimes will be before that point since they mathematically cannot, even if I knocked some girl up in fairly short order, be any older than five.)

I'm sure the mathmatics community has set up a countdown timer for it.

As for me, I could care less, not much though.

Dude, that'll be the best. Birthday. Ever.

Sort of.

Love having Pi day as the birthday. It's claim to geekdom.

OT: ummm. PI repeats continuously, i.e. the decimal places go on forever so
Well, technically we could have a party of infitisimal short length :).

Actually Pi has some 800 decimals or something but i don't really care since its just a number people decided to use to calculate a circle. No one really likes mathematics so i doubt there will be parties.
Ehm 800? How did you get that number? :p
And i beg to differ: some people like math, and I can assure you: there will be parties :)

oh and btw: Pi day ftw, math geeks for life!

Pi is an irrational number. It's also the Golden Ratio, because has anyone ever called a square 'Perfect'? Or one of the "agons" perfect? No, they're called regular.
But a perfect circle...

Hey, that's pretty neat. I doubt I'll have a party though. I'll try to at least be consuming some pie at that moment.

You don't need a set time to party!!!!!

personally, I'm looking forward to the 2012 parties.
